Mr BurroughsParticipant
Hey, why don’t any fan artists draw She-Hulk as she looks in the current "She-Hulk" series? You know – post issue #8, with her bulked-up physique?
I’d seriously pay for some more art portraying this version of She-Hulk, as I’m worried Dan Slott will slim her down for the new issues of the comic in Oct.
Mr BurroughsParticipantI can’t see the pictures you posted – the links go nowhere.
Around the time of the Clone saga, there was a special "encylopedia" of Spider-Man characters – a $2.50 or $2.95 single issue which I think was supposed to be The Jackyl’s secret database. The Stunner picture in there was by the current Hulk artist, Liam Sharpe, and she was REALLY big and sexy.
Mr BurroughsParticipantThe artist of that issue, ChrisCross, is EXCELLENT when it comes to drawing muscular women. He drew a forgotten Milestone comics (the DC imprint back in the 1990s) series called "Heroes," which included a very, very hot character named "Donner."
Donner was the product of Nazi genetic research – a 6’6”, muscular blonde who could bench press 3 tons. She’d previously appeared in a comic called "Shadow Cabinet," where she was portrayed as a typical-looking bodybuilder. But ChrisCross made her HUGE. Here’s a picture:

Unfortunately, Donner was one of six characters so there were probably only 10-12 good panels of her in the whole series. Good to see the artist taking his business elsewhere.
Mr BurroughsParticipantI second the recommendation of "Ordinary Heroes." You’re in luck – the story came out like 7 years ago, and the TPB was delayed and delayed and delayed until it finally came out in 2004.
The second-best TPB is the original 5-issue "Gen 13" series, with art by J. Scott Campbell. This has, as the end of issue one, Caitlin’s GTS scene, where she literally outgrows her clothes. The final splash page, of Caitlin gasping as she looks down at her massive new figure, is really great – Campbell draws it from below looking up, so we get a real sense of scale.
When I’m a millionaire I’m going to pay Hughes to draw his own version of that scene. (He does draw one panel from it in the TPB)

This contains issues #7-12, which feature the awesome arc that was widely discussed here and elsewhere.
To summarize: She-Hulk is transported to an alien planet to adjudicate some of their cases. The planet is currently run by Champion of the Universe, a crappy Marvel villain who has come into posession of the Infinity Gem of Power, rendering him invincible. She-Hulk takes him on anyway, and loses – but then she remembers that as She-Hulk, she’s exponentially stronger than she is as Jen Walters.
Pelletier’s art is stunning, and when he gets to draw Titania – well, watch the hell out.
If you’ve missed these issues, buy this book.
Mr BurroughsParticipantAwesome. There’s probably an interesting story behind that video, too … Kyle is barely 5 feet tall, right? I bet it was conceived as a kind of "revenge fantasy".
Mr BurroughsParticipantIt’s a non sequitor, sketchily written by a guy who has not fully registered with the site, and it links to a site that has no relation to anything discussed at She Grew. It reads like the poster harvested this thread somehow and swooped in to promote his site.
I won’t make a big deal of it, but this poster is interrupting our thread to talk about his own product. Not cool.
Mr BurroughsParticipantCan someone delete that spammer? Hell, how did he gain membership to this site in the first place?

If any enterprising writer or artist wants to take that scenario on, please go ahead! It’ll be months til we see what Slott will do …

I don’t want to post any spoilers of this issue or last issue, in case you missed #11 (and if you did, WTF? The most incredible female muscle of the century thus far is out there waiting on you!), but here’s the cover.
