ParticipantI found this old porky pig episode from 1944.e woman in it looks pretty buff plus its so funny, especially that Churchill joke.
The "Rosie the Riveter" type is pretty buff but man is her face ugly. I'm surprised you didn't mention the Fleischer-esque "Superwoman" at the beginning of the cartoon.

ParticipantThat was…weird. I thought they were going to have the Obama Girl turn into an Abominatrix to combat McCain Girl but it makes more sense to dress her up as a superheroine since she'd pretty hot.

ParticipantWell, it may take some time for the eventual strips to be reprinted but, here's some good news…

ParticipantSpider-Man 4 would be filming already if it were due next year so, that won't be coming out next year. Second, we can dream all we want but Hollywood is never going to cast a female bodybuilder or fitness competitor as a super heroine or villainess. At best they will cast an actress who might buff up for the role.

ParticipantHey Taylor I stumbled across some of your trailers on YouTube and purchased the vid of you with the migraine reaching for the Imitrex-I forget the actual title-and Man! It's great. Watching it I thought to myself "these people could probably do a great FMG vid", not realizing that you were considering it/working on it. I can't wait to see what you come up with and am looking forward to it.

ParticipantI felt indifferent to the trailers. I didn't think it was going to suck but I really wasn't looking forward to it. I was pleasantly surprised-better than I expected.

ParticipantThe irony of that episode is that the muscular woman shown in the credit sequence is better looking than the women in the actual episode.

ParticipantNever saw that way back when.

ParticipantI'm withholding judgment on this. I noticed that the Maya character greatly resembled Adam Hughes' Sarah Rainmaker, but I didn't realize Mack had borrowed much of the "Ordinary Heroes" art. It almost seems like Mack was doing this more as a homage because why else steal from only one issue? It's really up to Hughes to make the call on this matter.
It's funny-I noticed the resemblance to Hughes' version of Sarah but really didn't think it was a swipe. What's really ironic is that David Mack created Echo/Maya. Why would he feel the need to swipe art to draw a character he created? If anything, he should've swiped Joe Quesada's version of Echo/Maya.
