Comes out in April.I got the figure today. Not bad but, the red could be less dark.

ParticipantThanks for agreeing, DC! Usually I'm the odd man out when it comes to my views.
I remember the Cathy Lee Crosby pilot from 1974. Even at the age of 6 I knew that WW didn't look like that, and was disappointed.

ParticipantExplain it however you want-when William Moulton Marston created her in 1941, she was straight. Change her sexual preference for the film, and I lose interest. Hell, I keep hearing that Joss Whdeon wants to change her costume for the film-too drastic a change to her costume would make me lose interest. I realize that, when taking a property from page to film, changes have to be made. There are acceptable changes, and unacceptable changes. Making a straight character gay is an unacceptable change, to me.

ParticipantI'm pretty much known on this board as the old-fashioned curmudgeon who hates change so, if WW is turned lez or bi, I save my hard earned money and pass on the film.

ParticipantFound it.
Well done GrkFire116! Maybe it is because the image is small but, the effect is clean. Better than the rubber arm used in those Brawny commercials.

Participantyes, i remember it too
i don't know the title, but the girl was the strongwoman of a little circus company: her father is a sort o Houdinì, and her two brothers is an acrobat and a knife-launcher.
some very good feats of strength: she brokes a chain to free a boy, she curls a gig to repair the wheel, and above all she snaps two straps flexing a double bic!!!! *_____*Was this the Filmation Zorro cartoon, or the syndicated one that aired relatively recently?

ParticipantMy real name is Delmo, and from your response Mean must surely be yours.
I inquired about Joyce Chin because I liked her style and thought she would be perfect for what I had in mind. Using what Adam Hughes charges for a pin-up as a yardstick, I figured the most expensive it might be was $100.
I'm doing no one any favors, whether its inquiring for commission prices or posting/replying to this board.

ParticipantI would've been willing to pay $100-that's what I paid for an Adam Hughes pin-up, and Joyce Chin on her best day isn't Adam Hughes. The mistake I made was agreeing to the conditions set out by her rep/agent. I asked what she charges for a pin-up. He replied it depends on what I want. I described what I wanted and e-mailed reference. He told me she would do pin-up, send me a small image of it, then tell me how much. If I wasn't satisfied, I was under no obligation to buy. Sounded like a fair deal until he hit me with the price. While I was under no obligation, I felt guilty about turning it down, and I didn't want word to get out that I wasn't someone worth dealing with so, I paid. Recounting the story here will probably come back to bite me in the ass somehow but, figured I'd explain my experience.

ParticipantThanks, Mass, for the info but, I think I'll pass. I was already "raped" by Joyce Chin to the tune of $150. Suddenly the $100 Adam Hughes charges seems affordable.
