For some reason this is starding to sound like a sci-fi version of Sum of All Fears.  It was a good book by Tom Clancy that was twisted and turned into a bad movie staring Ben Affleck.  I hope this doesn't turn out like that.  If it is then I think they'll turn off all the current Trek fans trying to bring in new Trek fans.

The more I hear about this film, the less interested I am in seeing it. The Enterprise had been commanded by Robert April & Christopher Pike before Kirk came along so, it would already be in use while Kirk was in the academy.

And yes, I'm one of those rabid Trek fans.

I have to count myself as a keeper of Trek lore, but at this point I just want a good Trek movie.  I can live with a change or two if the end result is a movie that's good.

It was perhaps an unwise thing to do, but there are people criticising her buffness.

Its safe to say that I am not one of those.  Selfishly, I wish she had dropped in a flex or two while she was taking pictures, but as to the circumstances of the pics, I've already put my 2 cents in.

When I hit the post button, I knew someone was going to bring Arnold into the discussion, but this situation is different.

That was his profession.  He made his money as a pro bodybuilder decades before he ran for office.  These were candid shots of a woman in a firehall(government property).  Now if those shots had been done by a pro photographer at a modeling session or something like that, I would have no problem with it at all, but they weren't. Everybody is entitled to a private life of course, but when you get elected to office, no matter how small the town is, you are held to a different standard. Its not right and its not fair, but its the way it is.  That is one thing that keeps good people from running for office.  Nobody wants their life under a microscope.

And I still hold that her buffness has little or nothing to do with the furor.  If that lady had no visible muscle definition at all, but still had a nice body, and those shots had come out, the people in the town would still have made a stink.  This is about the dues and don'ts of being an elected official, not about how much time the lady spends in the gym.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here for a moment.  I really don't think most of the uproar is over her being in good shape.  Some people might make comments, but the bigger deal is the fact that she's the mayor and she in her undies at a firehall.  That is not the most professional thing to do no matter what she looks like. I don't know if she should lose her job, but I'd have doubts about a person who would keep those pictures on her myspace AFTER she had been elected.  Your opponents and enemies are always going to look for dirt.  She made it too easy for them.

Yeah, I got in a tight spot some time back. My aunt came over to visit and she asked me if I had been writing recently.  Well of course the answer is going to be yes. She used to read most of my stuff before I ever got into FM stories.  So of course she wanted to read them.  My background is in adventure, action, and sci-fi.  That's what she was used to.  I've always had 'strong' female characters in my stories.  Even when I was a kid.  They might not have been buff or whatever back then, but none of my female lead characters took crap off of anybody.  Well anyway, after some hasty rewrites, I printed out some of my latest and let her read them.  She read most of the Power and Fury stuff and some of the Caeda stuff that I had finished at that time.  Its not like Jan or Lisa were any weaker, but the descriptions and accounts of their feats of strength were changed to protect the uninitiated.
But now you're making me feel guilty.  Maybe I should have left it all in there.

I've seen this thread pop up and down over time, and I've avoided it.  I thought at first that this is a real personal question until I really thought about my situation.  I split it into two separate questions.  The first is reality…

I don't go out and advertise or anything, but people who have been around me know that athletic body types are one of several body types that I like.  My brothers know and a couple of my close friends know.  I have dated athletic girls in the past, and I have dated some more voluptuous girls too.  I think my personal physical attractions are pretty normal as far as it goes, but unlike some guys I don't exclude a well muscled woman.  I will admit though that I tend to notice when a woman is more defined than usual.

Now for the second part…  Most people who know me have no idea that I write FM stories, or that I belong to a message board like this.  My brothers sort of know, but it never really comes up in conversations or anything. I don't worry about it or try to hide it, but I do keep it on the low.  I do on occasion let people read some of my stories, but they are edited for general viewing.  The story lines stay the same, but I pretty much cut out most of the overt muscle. I shouldn't have to do that, but such is life.

Well, got that off my chest.

Very nice work.  The Ranma theme took me back.  I haven't even thought of Ranma in years. It used to be one of my favorites.

She has the most amazing arms. A lot of FBBs have incredible biceps from the front, but from behind, you can barely see them. They look like small bumps on top of a large arm.

I love how prominent her's are, front and back. It reminds me a lot of Charla Sedacca.

The list of great rear biceps posers is a relatively small one. I just recently saw a newbie on the block named Yasha who has a very nice rear biceps.

I'm glad to see Lindsay back.  I always wonder why, when a fbb drops of the face of the earth, but I guess sometimes they come back.

That poor girl. I didn't scream in horror, just shook my head.
