ParticipantBecause Marvel likes to milk crossover events – there are going to be TWO Word War Hulk events, Alpha and Gamma (like radiation! GET IT?!) Alpha is basically the left hand side called the "Intelligentsia" or something similarly prosaic and basically The Leader gets them together to mess with the gamma gang or some such.
There aren't two, thos are just One-shots. Prologues to the actual story.
Don Jack
ParticipantThe other problem is that you need Bruce around for her orgin story, which is another reason she'd might only show up in a Hulk film.
Don Jack
Participant…Is that Egghead?
Yes and the "monkeys are the Red ghost's super apes( Red ghost is the dude next to the Leader.
Don Jack
ParticipantWell, it seems she's a-OK
Don Jack
ParticipantIt's as liekly as it has always been.
Meaning, She'll only show up as a supporting character/sidekick in a Hulk movie.
Don Jack
ParticipantRulk has always been smart.
Also, it isn't official that she's She-Rulk. It's just one theory.

ParticipantYeah, it strikes me as a bit silly to bemoan the lot of muscular women in comics when they've really never had it so good.
As to Jen being dead… she was just hanging out with Rulk and Doc Samson when a gamma reactor went kaboom – which is clearly just to set up Jen as the #1 candidate for being She-Rulk… because presumably everyone has stopped caring about the identity of Rulk because they introduced a bunch of potential candidates and then went "Oh, actually – it's none of them."
To be honest, I get why some people are disgruntled with the addition of Lyra and now She-Rulk but as I said before, while it's clearly Marvel pushing characters at the expense of Jennifer, I can't really BLAME them for that. With Lyra and (I'll assume with She-Rulk) you're getting characters who are clearly defined and don't have thirty years of backstory that has given several quite different takes on the character.
Lyra even has her own schtick in that anger makes her weaker… and she has her "hulk fu". I'm sure She-Rulk will have her villain thing… Jen is subject to terribly fractious fanbase that could probably have a fight over anything you mentioned about her. I assume Marvel want a strong female to push as a Wonder Woman equivalent… or something and Jen just has too much baggage.
Some think She-Rulk is Domino(she found out who Rulk is) or some SHIELD or HAMMER agent(the suit).
Pretty sure Jen isn't dead since Lyra is looking for her(in Pak's Hulk so Jen's safe).Of course we have to see what happends in this World War Hulks(nothice it's plural) thing.
Don Jack
ParticipantThis is so typical.
Comic books are just dead set on making sure that muscle mass on females is a strictly villain trait. When She Hulk is green, she looks like a supermodel, but when she's a villain, then she looks like Titania.
Unless she's Drawn by McGuiness or Frank Cho. Matter of fact, Jen has be drawn with muscles recently. So maybe that type of mindset is going away?

ParticipantI don't know,
But what I do know is I am sick of Marvel killing off the legendary heroines (Ms. Marvel and now SH) and replacing them with these scrubs! I heard that in IH #600, Jen and Doc are left for dead and now this new SH is about to be revealed. I dont like this all new SH, Lyja SH or any other SH they are putting out there. I want my Jen Walters SH, big, muscled and strong. Stop giving us these fillers and trying to change the perception of SH amongst her fans. (I dont like this, end of story!)Fonzie
Ms.Marvel isn't dead, she's fighting Moonstone for the title. There's a reason the arc is called "War of the Marvels"
Jen isn't dead either, she's missing sure, but her niece is looking for her.
Chill Bro, it'll all work out.
And doesn't her "suit" look like the one the black widow uses?
Looks more Like a SHIELD suit. Might be Hill.
She-Rulk is a villain anyway.

ParticipantThe "Third Rate Wonder Woman" comment was directed at Thundra because that's what she is. The Lyra mini series wasn't bad by itself but there was a "been there done that" feel to it. As for bias… 'course I've got bias. We all do. That's what makes forums fun. 🙂

Oh, ok. Don't exactly agree, but thanks for the clarification. Still, i wouldn't worry about Jen and i don't see why Aunt and niece couldn't co-exist. I'm also looking forward to see if she meets her bro( paks book of course) and father.
