    The term "Amazon" comes from the Greek tribe of "Tall & Muscular" women warriors.  Buffy was neither, hence she was not an Amazon.

    Calling Buffy an Amazon is easier than calling her "that blond girl who could kick your ass". :mrgreen:

    What should I call her, then?

    My point is: Was Buffy in fact buff? No.

    Please explain how you could expect Whedon to cast a "buff" woman as Wonder Woman?

    "Buffy" wasn't "buff" because he knew he couldn't get away with it on his show.

    Not being "buff" doesn't mean she wasn't an Amazon, because it was obvious she was.

    It was the best he could do (and he did pretty damn good, because she's a pop-icon).

    I'd love to see a hugely muscular woman playing Wonder Woman, but we both know that just won't happen.

    All I can say is that I'm not sure I trust the guy who created Buffy to appropriately cast an Amazon.

    Whedon is an Amazon fan.

    There are strength-feats in most episodes of "Buffy".

    Take the premise of the show:

    Beautiful blond California cheerleader kills monsters instead of being killed by them.

    I watched each episode first-run & have all the DVD's.

    If Whedon doesn't cast a muscular woman as Wonder Woman, it will because of Hollywood, not him.

    Someone recently told me of Leyla.info. From what I heard it sounded like an awesome site. Anyone know where I can find contents from it. The site is down now.

    I think she's doing animations for a paysite (AweFilms, or something), last I heard.

    I made an account & put in all those pix that remind me of Scott Campbell's work.  It does not include the amazing Fett's work (all his stuff reminds me of Campbell.  But Fett's are better because he draws femuscle 😉
