Oh hell no, I love Star Trek but you can’t hold people to what is “true” in a fake universe. It’s a TV show, enjoy it. I just don’t want to see them try to over-explain everything to the point it becomes ridiculous. Similar in fashion to what Star Trek Voyager did to the borg, a menacing scary race that ended up being beaten on a weekly basis by a small light cruiser class spaceship and turned into a joke. Sometimes scifi writers seem to feel the need to explain everything that occurs in a show and the reasoning behind it, rarely does it turn out to be anything but a disaster.

My big fear is they are going to go too far in trying to explain everything like they did with Caprica and that stupid screwed up “origin” of the cylons. Other then that I want Vipers shooting Raiders and Battlestar fleet action and I’ll be happy.
