A couple of people have had issues with the site not working on certain browsers. I get “security token invalid” errors every now and then and have to login two or three times in a row, but I did have something similar happen last year to me, it turned out the yahoo email account I had used on this forum, way back when it was Transvigor, had been compromised in one of yahoo’s hacks and someone was trying to find a way in. They were using the forgot password function here a couple times then it started happening elsewhere. If you use a yahoo account here you might try changing it to a different email. If you don’t and it happens again let me know and I’ll see what I can find in the logs.

edit: If you’re not logging in from Taiwan, then something is definitely going on with your account.

Well, clearly we have reached the unnecessary mocking reply phase and since the original poster has stated he’s dropping the issue I’m going to shut this topic down. Here’s the deal. Any topic with heavy political themes will be moved to the Free for All area, anyone who intentionally trolls another member with political themed replies or whatever will be disciplined. That’s it. You don’t like someone’s thread? Don’t read it, don’t reply to it. Or reply to it, debate it, it’s up to you. Keep the politics in the appropriate threads and out the topics where it doesn’t belong. I stopped reading anything ashlee posted a long time ago, with one exception for her little rant about the Faith comic just to see how triggered she was over the fact there was a superheroine who wasn’t drawn like an ultrabuxom sex goddess and sure enough best laugh I’ve had in a while. If you can’t deal with someone who has a different opinion then yours, that’s your problem not a forum moderation problem. As long as it doesn’t get out of hand and turn personal it’s not a staff issue. I don’t like the attacks on liberalism and broad comments made about it by members just like I don’t like the attacks on conservatives I see elsewhere. Y’all can discuss whatever you want as long as it’s in the proper forum section and as I stated it doesn’t turn into a personal flame war. It’s really sad this is where this forum has gotten but there is no way to address this without honking someone off.

I pretty much agree with everything you just said. I haven’t liked the slow descent into political commentary being thrown into everything around here. I stopped reading certain threads long ago for that reason and I’m down to basically logging in to check for messages or reported posts make a brief check for spam and I’m out. The people I talked to are mostly long gone and the only reason I’m still around is that several years ago Lingster asked me to effectively take over operations here because he no longer had the time to handle it himself so I’ve done my best to try and keep it going smoothly. I have three other forums I belong to these days and those are for game support because I’ve had my fill of internet drama for one lifetime, it’s something I just don’t need.

I haven’t wanted to push back on the political statements and posts that seem to be made for no other reason then someone has to link everything to one group or another now because I know what happens on internet forums once it starts and there’s no clean way to deal with it without being attacked from all sides for whatever you do.

If anyone else wants to comment for a while please do so but sometime in the future as it stands we’re going to implement serious moderation on the political views being shoved into threads and thread topics. There are plenty of places to go to discuss politics, and a forum that is supposed to be about female muscle, athletes art and stories is going to be put back on it’s course. This will apply to threads outside the Free for All area.

Nobody’s asking you to apologize for anything. You raised a concern and I addressed the issue and gave possible solutions to it, plain and simple. I even have a stickied topic stating feedback and questions are welcome

    https://www.amaz0ns.com/component/kunena/Announcements–Updates/120230-site-feedback-and-questions-are-welcomed

which as far as I’m concerned is what this is. You have an issue and I am discussing it with you and seeing how we can resolve it to your satisfaction within reason. Once again it seems to me the simple solution is to start locking down the off-topic responses in other threads by both members and moderators, not a big deal at all and easily implemented. I just wanted to give people some small insight as to how things work on this forum simply because we rarely discuss it in the open, mostly because we’ve been here so long and it’s not like we have a flood of new members posting anywhere. It’s all good man.

    Speaking of,..whatever happened to GWHH

We have no idea he just kind of disappeared a while ago.

As for the political commentary one of the problems moderating any internet forum is no matter what you do someone is always hacked off about something or is complaining they’re being targeted or the moderators are out to get them or some B.S. and that’s why we generally stay hands off as much as possible and let a lot of comments go no matter how mind mindbogglingly asinine or whiny they might be. In this case I will make a rare public statement about something and say, yes I don’t like the political commentary made in a lot of these threads that derails the topic from a moderation standpoint, that’s why we have the free for all area not topics created for other reasons. If you all think it’s become too much of a problem the very simple solution is we start locking down on off topic comments in other threads. I never really thought it was necessary here considering how small the active community is and aside from some occasional drama as per my earlier comments and the never ending fight against spam we don’t have too many problems.

However if that decision is made it will be adhered to so you all better be sure that’s what you want because when I start calling people out for violations and suddenly it’s all “oh it was just one comment I didn’t think it was that big a deal why am I being picked on when others do it more then me. Your policies are unfair!” then we’re going to end up with more complaints. That also means members need to get more involved messaging me or AlexG about off topic comments so we can get on it as soon as possible before something starts and causes a problem.

So y’all keep commenting if you want and we’ll see how this goes in a little while and what we decide to do about it.

Just so you all know any moderation done on this forum is done by either myself or AlexG. If a member has publicly accused one of us of targeting them then the other one will handle the situation, we discuss any action taken so we both know what’s going on but if it involves a member being banned or anything more serious then a warning or thread merge (Which I leave to Alex because last time I tried I deleted the whole thread by accident) we send it up to Lingster for his final say. The only exceptions to that rule are people who violate the underage content ban in which case he just gets a message saying whomever was banned for underage content.

I know this might shock some people but we have lives that don’t revolve around this forum and we don’t sit around scheming how to screw over somebody we don’t like, it’s the internet….deal with it like an adult.

Ok I tried to edit the topic name from “age of constant” to “age of consent” and when I did it deleted the original post and split this reply off to a new topic somehow, which I don’t understand because it was a simple thread name edit and now it’s gone. My apologies to Uzi4You please feel free to repost the original.

Technically Alex reported it too. And you can’t ban me! I’ve got tenure.B)

Alex is an appointed forum moderator doing his job making sure this site is safe for all visitors, as opposed to you just whining. However thank you for pointing out you have tenure, I have adjusted your account signature accordingly……B)
