ParticipantJeez, my mistake 😳
Ive seen Bass around wreckshop and i assumed she was male from the name. So I hadn’t paid notice to the gender in her profile
So if you see this Bass sorry about the misconception.

ParticipantBuh, wha?
well its like ya know when…you uh?Um, are u being serious? If you are it was just something that plain never crossed my mind when i drew the muscular version. Goal was to create muscular body why maintaing the pose and the rest of the features teh same.
From what i know i think there are bones in tails and the tendon acts as an attachment to bone. So if a tail was made up mostly of tendons then, which is more of an elastic material, it would lack the articulation that muscle can provide from relaxing and contraction of the muscle fibers. So most likely the tail would increase in size, but dont know what kinda definition it would have. Or whether it would look like sausage links or something.Anways hope that answers ur question.

ParticipantWow, i honestly don’t see problems with how the faces are. Im guessin its how the creator views their own art. I definitely like to be able to create a more realistic illustrative style like that.
But i agree with pimp about the first pic. As teh anatomy and proportions are off. In the first one with the the area where the abs end and the end of teh groin area is too short. This also makes here torso too small for here arms, but im not sure if u where goin for more human proportions there, because of those ears. I guess that since u wanted to stay proportional the legs end up shortended as well.
If u have issues wiht proportion u can try measuring things in the head height of ur character. See how many heads it takes to reach the end of the torso to the crotch area. This should also let u stretch out the legs abit more.
Hope my comments were helpful, and keep drawing.

ParticipantWhat do u mean its off balanced?
*tries out pose* see its fine*wobbles*
hehe kinda didnt put too much thought about it till now, though i noticed she looked a bit tipsy after i scanned here in heh. Nothing like little golden nuggets of wisdom to break my teeth on. Sometimes I kinda want it since my art teacher used shovel out in good measure.Though one question wahts a sternum and clavicle? I’ll probably google it myself to find out but giving me a general location might help me to understand some of the analogies u put forth.
Anways ye i know the colors a bit too diffused. I tend to be weary of trying new things unless im forced to. But ill look into creating deeper shadows next time around. Hey can i pm u about ur coloring proccess?
Also thanx for the positive comments everbody, and thanx for the um… enthusiasum debido-san 😆
