ParticipantI have to give her kudos to that. I still have doubts about the final stages.
Wait a minute. The movie is now in post-production stages! How can she still be working out if they’re finished shooting!

ParticipantThe premise behind this doesn’t interest me. It’s just about Barbara Gordon undergoing her own Batman journey after her fiance is killed on her wedding day. If she decided to use cybernetic suits instead for her team they would be DC’s own Knight Sabers from the Bubblegum Crisis series.
No, if Barbara was to ever build more muscle I’d rather see it happen because she feels the need to under less tragic reasons.

ParticipantIf she is then the advice she needs should come from people she knows personally, not from internet strangers.

ParticipantThe growth of online harrassment and criticism is a social problem, IMHO. This applies to all peoples. We need to rise above this new level of social criticism quickly because we’re seeing too much online than what individuals see around them.

Participant
Interesting, but why do fans think Storm is a muscular heroine? I’ve seen fan art that does that but where did the idea come from?
when she got Mohawk and won the right to lead the Morlocks. threw Combat no powers
Interesting. Yet fans don’t think Kitty Pryde is muscular despite her martial training. Nor do fans remember when Polaris was once a giantess after losing her powers to her sister, Zaladane.

ParticipantJessica Jones was not drawn with an athletic build. She wore regulair clothes when Alias debuted.

Participant
I think the enthusiasm died down because DC and WB have constantly f’ed them over. Once they see an actual trailer for a new Wonder Woman movie, I bet they will flip their sh**.
My DC fandom died with Brian Azzarello’s run on Wonder Woman. I no longer trot out Heraclea nearly as often as I used to, because the status of Wonder Woman in the DC universe is depressing right now.
Have you ever drawn Hippolyta and Diana together flexing? I’d like to see your rendition of that!
I really have no interest in seeing a sequel to Man of Steel, which was incredibly dark, dull, and dour, and everything a Superman movie shouldn’t be. Hell, Rocket Raccoon saved more civilian lives than Superman. Unless they do a complete 180 on the themes and mood of the sequel, and lighten things up a whole lot, I’m not interested. A Wonder Woman cameo won’t be enough. Especially if that version of Wonder Woman is corrupted by having Zeus as her father.
Please, let’s not bring the Raccoon into this. Different movie with different dynamics. One has Hans Zimmer and the other has all these catchy old songs. If we see Krypto in a Superman film then we know they’re just copying Marvel.

ParticipantAnything can be faked in the movies today. I remember the ongoing discussions from the Wonder Woman fans on who should have been casted long before Gal Gadot was hired. Nobody got it right and I think more were disappointed that impressed. But in terms of height it’s the least important because that can be faked on screen. Physique wise is harder to pull off, which is why I prefer the actress really get into shape.
