Avengers and Winter Soldier were both pretty good (not great though). Last 2 X-Men movies — First Class and Days of Future
Past — were also pretty good.
Where Marvel seriously lags behind DC is animated features — both direct to video movies and TV series. The only good one Marvel has done to this point is Avengers: EMH. Marvel really doesn’t seem to care about the animated market, focusing almost exclusively on their live action stuff.

In the US that’s “Brett” is one of those unisex names (though it is rare that you hear of a female named “Brett”). Other
common unisex names in the US include Alex, Cory, Dana, Lee, Pat, Randy, Robin, Terry and Tracy.

Another definite schmoe in the DC Universe is Mr Miracle, Big Barda’s boyfriend. Ditto Owlman, Superwoman’s
boyfriend in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
And I know that Batman is definetly NOT a schmoe. I mean, Wonder Woman basically offers herself to him
in Justice League The Animated Series, and he refuses her on the basis that “he has no time to date.”
How lame is that? :S :
