ParticipantI have an ugly suspicion she’ll come back as figure or fitness competitor so as to “appeal to the mainsteam”.

Participant1) I don’t like the name “Tucker” for a guy. Just brings up the image of Tucker Carlson, that really annoying Conservative TV pundit from few years back. I mean he was a guy under 30 (back then) who wore a bow tie — how annoying is that?
2) Nicole Ball, Cindy Phillips, Sharon Bruneau…yeah if there two things Canada can do is produce great hockey players and good looking female bodybuilders.
3) Who do you think the fbb in question is? I have a sneaking suspicion it was Melissa Coates, who at one time was rumored to hob-nob with celebrities in LA.

ParticipantIs that a MORPH or the real article? I mean she is INSANE shape there! Forget “I Dream of Jeanie”, I wanna watch “I dream of Aleesha”!

No he’s not. I used to like her. I still think she’s got awesome muscles, but a few of us realize there’s something above the shoulders, too. She’s just not that pretty anymore, facially speaking.[/quote]
Ok I get it you and cpbell0033844 don’t care for her looks. So why are you following this thread again?

ParticipantI’m fantasizing about a Stain Steele movie staring…Satin Steele. In other words, an animated short/clip/feature. Any chance of that of that ever happening DCM?

ParticipantI think you guys are undervaluing GL:First Flight — it’s not a great movie like WW, but it is thoroughily entertaining and definelty a keeper.
One more point on this topic. Why is it do you think that DC has thrived with their animated movies — basically breathing life back into their once flagging franchise — while Marvel (in my day — the 1980s — considered to be far the coolest franchise with titles like Spiderman and X-Man) has yet to produce ONE animated feature of any caliber? I think the last Marvel feature I watched was Thor Vs Incredible Hulk, and that was beyond terrible.

ParticipantFrom what I’ve seen of the DC Animated Movies:
Great:
Wonder Woman: probably the best of the lot
Green Lantern: First Flight: a movie not without its flaws but Sinestro
is a very strong and credible villain, the animation is great, and the
soundtrack is awesome
Justice League (All Seasons): ok not a movie but if you have not seen these, go out and buy them NOW. They are AMAZING. Bruce Timm is a genius and he singularly breathed life back into the DC Franchise (which had been clearly trailing Marvel in terms of popularity up until that point)
Justice League Unlimited (All Seasons): not quite up to the same standard as the first one, but very good nonetheless, definetly should be a part of your collection.
Batman: Under the Red Hood: great story, Joker shines in this one.Mediocre:
Superman: Doomsday
Justice League: New Frontier
Batman/Superman: Public Enemies
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite EarthsBatman/Superman: Apocalypse? I dont know, havent seen it, but the reviews arent promising.

ParticipantClip’s great, thanks.
What was your take on the movie (Superman/Batman Apocalypse, right?)? I’m thinking of getting it, but DC Comic movies have been a mixed bag lately. Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Batman: Under the Red Hood were great, but Public Enemies and Crisis on Infinite Earths were awful. I’m wondering if this movie is worth buying and adding to my collection or is it rental material only.
