There was one back in the mid-80s, probably 1985, that featured a new girl in Archie's neighborhood.  He offered to help her move some stuff from the truck into the house, but the box he chose was too heavy for him and he dropped it.  He opened it and it was filled with dumbbells and weights.  The girl came back, said something like, "Oh, my weights!  I'll get those!"  And she easily hefted the box and carried them inside.  Heh.  I loved it – have looked for it ever since, but with no luck.

There was also a parody of Josie & The Pussycats that appeared in Penthouse Comix – one issue featured a prison yard with several very muscular women, drawn in perfect Archie style.

The "house style" of Archie comics is based on the work of Dan DeCarlo – there was a book of his adult work released in 2005, called The Pin-up Art of Dan DeCarlo.
