I don't know if there was an original intent but Vajra was drawn by Jan Duursema a woman who was happy to make her look like she could swing a sword. Jan has put muscle on other women like Polaris in some X' books. She's currently drawing a Star Wars book for Darkhorse.

I don't know about Florina. She's got a vulnerable look facially that I'm not sure could pull off "I'm gonna kick your ass with my pinky" glare.
I'd suggest Alana De La Garza but I'm not sure how tall she is.

I enjoyed the story very much. Both in fact. I like the variety of reactions to the changes including the geeky and not so geeky guys who actually liked some of it. Trish was fun and so was Cindy and her son.
