ParticipantFasola-san: Very nice colouring work! Especially the boots. The red bodysuit can perhaps do with a bit more darker shadows.

ParticipantDo whatever works for you, Billy. If stories interest you, go for it. If you feel like drawing again, great! Just because you've done one or two doesn't mean you have to commit yourself one way or another.

Participantbesides, isn't that what an artist is supposed to be? being a bit odd, and expresses his or her emotions through their art?
I agree. Although I would like to think that our "oddity" will inspire others to express -their- emotions through whatever means which suit them. I believe humans are creators by nature, so it should simply be natural for us to create, not just the ones dubbed "artists".
Also, I would be most intrigued to see your art. Pleased to meet you, sacul.
Edit: Ah, pardon my ignorance. I was slack and didn't do my due research. Most wonderful art.mikazuki
ParticipantSo let me get this straight. The weren't good enough for the muscle shelf so you brought 'em here. 😉
*lol*
OKey doke. Just get to work on that story. 😀
ditto.
To express emotions only through the eyes is quite a challenge, albeit a very satisfying one. My favourite body subjects are the eyes and hands, for that reason.

ParticipantYay! This was the post by Collector-san I had been waiting for, to get my butt over to his Yahoo Group.
[mini-spoilers ahead]
I'm enjoying the animations so far. I'm very impressed by the fun and dedication to your work, as I understand animation is a real endurance challenge, and animators get my utmost respect. Your stories are honest, and characters bleed and die when they should. That gives me a more lasting impression than if the stories were simply a bitch slog (although I enjoyed that too ^_^).
A bit sad to read that you said you'd move on from femuscle after you finish your main project. I'll be sure to enjoy the good times while they last.
Ganbatte ne! (Give it your best!)
Kindly yours,
Bee.mikazuki
ParticipantThank you. I know I keep saying it, but encouragement is like rice to an artist's bowl.
Collector-san: This was merely a study sketch, but you have instilled much meaning into it. Interesting how some of one's best work comes from spur-of-the-moment inspirations. Again, you've helped me to grasp what it takes to draw with one's passion.
Neon-sama: Your praise is beyond me *bows* My husband also says the image bears my resemblance – if I were that well-endowed – to which I raised my eyebrow *laughs* But now I see that it is my soul which he speaks of. Looking at the image again, yes, she is certainly someone I would aspire to.

ParticipantI'm curious, any chance of you doing character profiles for your other characters too? I find them a good way to learn more about the characters, and your one-liners are fab – they say just as well as a whole page of descriptions.

ParticipantAs a study I see some contradicting points in the lighting, but indeed you did a really good job with.
Praytell your thoughts, it would help me learn.

ParticipantThank you for all the superlatives ^^; Also, um… yeah, if you have time, you might like to read Alex's story and drop him a note too, so he would continue his story… 'cos this was inspired from his story after all 🙂 (… the story's not very long, and he's a good writer, really ^_^)
Benji-kun: I still have one more exam, so I'm not quite "back" yet. This was me being distracted, as usual. But I -do- have more surprises when my exams are done 😉

ParticipantGood job with your character profiles. I look forward to seeing them in action in your manga.
What is it about the pics that you're not sure about? You can do what I do, and just chuck them in a story, and modify them as their character becomes clearer.
