ParticipantOh wow, what an uncanny resemblance. And thank you for the Jamie Eason link. I think she came over to say hi and share some homebaked cookies (but it's a surprise!).

ParticipantShe's really lovely. Her eyes are so piercing, and can't miss those luscious lips. And oh, I dig cool blondes 😀 Great rolemodel for the Bundesrepublik.

ParticipantThat's great! Your place must look like a gallery. It'll be cool to see a photo of the wall one day.

ParticipantIt's great to see traditional media work. I'm curious, where do you keep all your paintings? Do you hang them up around the house? Sell them? My house is so cluttered as it is, so digital work has become much more convenient for me.

ParticipantWow, she turned out real dandy!

ParticipantYour art style has become more painterly than before. It looks less Capcom-style. I actually like it because I enjoy looking at artists developing their own unique style. Thank you for sharing~

ParticipantInteresting proposition. You might be able to market it as a collectible. Limited edition stuff. Might help if you could discuss the idea with FM fans who are into collectibles, like zefly. I think characters like Tetsuko have enough of a following to make the idea plausible.

ParticipantSorry, can't help you. This subforum doesn't get noticed as much as most others, so you might want to ask some of the more knowledgable people directly (through PMs or something). elee0228 is familiar with the Japanese scene. And dcmatthews has had contact with Kinsyo via one of the Japanese-speaking members here. So maybe they can offer you some leads. Good luck!

ParticipantYou can try inking it before you scan it in. Felt pens or pens that give out more ink will make your life easier when cleaning up the scan. But for sketches on newspaper which bleeds easily, ballpoint pens will still work fine.
And what program are you using to clean up your scans? If you happen to get your hands on Photoshop, it has features that can help with cleaning up scans. I'm not familiar with GIMP or other free programs, but the sort of features you'd want are Levels, Brightness/Contrast adjustment, and Dodge/Burn tool.

ParticipantThanks for sharing! You have a really cool gallery. And I like your tattoo work as well. I'm surprised your gals don't feature more of them tattoos.
