ParticipantAlthough the Adventure Time “Islands” miniseries featuring Susan Strong as a major character doesn’t air until next week, it’s already been released on DVD, iTunes, and the like. I won’t go into any in-depth spoilers, but I will say that Susan’s upbringing is like something we would’ve thought of.

ParticipantI’m getting ahead of myself in regards to any actual growth (especially since the episode doesn’t even have a known premiere date yet), but the two-part Adventure Time season finale looks to be centered around Susan Strong, and if the preview from SDCC is any indication, it will be highly explanatory in regards to her past:

They recently revealed the title card, and I can’t help but notice her silhouette seems rather normal-sized compared to her usual physique.
It’s finally airing on Saturday.
ParticipantI though I remembered from a while back, maybe a year or two ago, there there man be a Batman or Batman related comic where Harley Quinn get hold of Bane’s super serum and she gets super big and striong. Did that ever happen? If so, anyone have any photos or links to it?

I think that might actually be the joke. Keeping that beautiful princessy smile on her face while admistering such a brutal curbstomping is a lot funnier than if she had gone all man-faced.
