She seems to have nice skin. Impressive vascularity on her torso.

Mm. I don’t buy it. She’s a grown up and she’s old enough to take responsibility for her choices. My only real regret is that everyone is now going to look at Ms. Reardon and claim that it was steroid abuse that made her a volatile mess and not, for example, the abuse of alcohol and bad choices.

+1 this. Dani is likely just a flawed human being like all of us. Being into this milieu has nothing to do with her predicament. People make questionable choices all the time.

Three things I take away from this news coverage:

    1. It’s one thing for central Florida papers to cover this, as it is a disturbance, but for national or foreign sources to mention it is pretty tawdry.
    2. Speaking of which, the huff and daily news were pretty gratuitous in the visual aids they included. Stories like this affirm my suspicions that there are more schmoes out there than we might guess.
    3. Notice that ms reardon doesn’t look to be close to contest condition. I haven’t paid attention to her in a long time, but if that arrest photo were all I’d ever seen of her I wouldn’t have guessed she is a bodybuilder. It’s like people can’t wait to paint fbb’s as freaks, when stuff like this happens with similar frequency to other less fitness oriented women in her region and socioeconomic category.

I can relate. I had to record my own amusement in secret, too. The good news was, in those days MuscleSport USA and ESPN bb comps were usually on late at night, when everybody else was asleep. Unbelievable the lengths you had to go through in those days to indulge weird fetishes (which I just accepted that they were).

Why in secret? Because I was a teenager at the time living with my parents.
And I certainly didn’t want my parents to know that I was attracted to
    fbbs.

Ommigod! Funny you mention that. I took my daughter there this summer–well, sort of. That park and the name are resurrected, although it is not quite the same as back in the day. I showed her some youtube videos of the old AP commercials, because to people born after 1990, the old Action Park sounds made up. My little lady thought the current park, though not as wild, is still more edgy than most other fun parks still in business.

Yeah, the reckless disregard was amazing back in the good ol’ days. As if the activities weren’t dubious enough, many of the patrons and employees were intoxicated. Good times!

Boy that takes me back! If anyone remembers Action Park – pretty much the sickest park ever – they had “The Eliminator” set up there for a season. Seriously. They thought it would be a great idea for drunk fat dudes to run across a spinning cylinder, jump over a wall, try to climb up a cargo net, then zipline over a ball pit. Trust me – you never wanted to land in the ball pit.

Hah! Sorry about that. Wasn’t meaning to fake anybody out. Still, when I learned of Isil here, I figure she would have been a fairly recognizable public figure in the first place. How cool would it be in the US if Erin Burnett or Sara Eisen or somebody bulked up over a two year period?

Women who lifts are usually a lot stronger than average woman. I’ve seen it in gymn. And Britney lifts for at least fifteen years. So it’s very unlikely she has the same strength as an average woman

Agreed. I think sometimes we forget within this milieu how strong and athletic most women ain’t. Katie Couric, Sage Steele (which btw, how has this not already been a superheroine alter-ego name?), Jamie Eson, and the like stand out because they don’t look like the average woman. They don’t even look like the average celebrity woman.

All that said, I wouldn’t know how to answer the OP question. When she’s in shape, Britney actually looks pretty athletic, not far off from early 1990’s fitness competitor level.
