I don't think I can add much to this discussion – but I don't draw with a style in mind.

The way I draw is that I surround myself with references of whatever I need, from photos to illustrations, and based either on how well it illustrates what I'm trying to draw or if it possesses the emotional resonance or atmosphere of what I'm trying to create. It's totally dependent on what I'm doing.

Generally, I'll draw what needs drawing, so for example, I may use Adam Warren's manga style illustrations to help with a face or action, Adam Hughes with fluid beauty, or a reference to get a basic structure of the human body appropriately.

I don't spend time on going, "Man, that isn't 'manga' enough, or 'fett' enough" or whatever. I just put the lines down until I have the pic I want, borrowing whatever tools from whatever artists' have used before me.

Since Adam Hughes is by far my favourite, I generally end up using his work as a reference, and no doubt, borrow the tools he uses more than others, resulting in what I self-mockingly call 'tracing Adam Hughes'.

    Fneh.

I don't read much comics, so I'm not familiar with Adam Hughes.

Thanks, I needed that. Nothing in the world more ridiculous than a 50 yr. old white guy trying to rap.

(I'm actually more of a breast man anyway…)

Tell ya, the truth, I am too.

I wanted to network, but the last guy I networked with…no one else drew.

So I want to network with you, Miss Kulli.

My artistic style…I tri to simplify the muscles as best as I can and I don't really draw veins on my muscle girls; they would take away from my muscle girls IMO.

I don't remember when, but why?

    Because I'm kinda attracted to them… :-[

Plus I'm trying to present them in a positive image unlike that presented in that Axe Commercial and in Kinsyo's page.  If you've seen the page before, you knoiw what I'm talking about. If not, then look at elee's Links topic. and go to the topic titled "Kinsyo". Kinsyo is a good artist, but some of his pics…you know how they involve a little boy…those…

Brb.  Can't talk for too long. I'll finish later.

My copy of GIMP keeps copping out.  And I tried with Winmorph, but I can't seem to morph correctly.
