Participantthought some people might want to see some alternate versions of the above pics of Powera. here's both pics modified by Darcsyde. both "digitally inked" and then colored versions.
Hope people enjoy!

ParticipantNicely composed scene!
the poses and positioning match well with your title. I like it.

ParticipantIf you're thinking of commissioning artwork at all, I highly recommend Jebriodo.
I've got to second this. I was really happy with both the process and results on the above Fuerza commission he did for me. Professional and with smooth communication, a real class act.

ParticipantFuerza can be such a showoff sometimes…. knowing her last two lifts have assured her the gold at the 2024 Nova Olympics, on the third lift, she shows what she can do just one-handed…

ParticipantAh, the power of super-seductive pheromones . . . 😛
(Better superheroing through chemicals, that's GE at work 😉 )
lol.
yep. Alundra has some impressive pheremones
although it doesn't stop there. She's got a whole bag of tricks. Sub-harmonics in her voice which subliminal alter the target's hormone and endorphin balance. Ability to immediately read a person's sexual ideals and fantasies at a glance with a specialized form of low level telepathy / empathy, and intuitively adapt her posture and demeanor to send *just* the right hints. And even limited shapeshifting abilities to shift her body type to be to the tastes of her observers.
and that's why Alundra delayed Powera a lot more than a bunch of tanks and artillery. 🙂

ParticipantPowera did look dead sexy. XD
Nice one!
I'd say both Powera and Allundra looked dead sexy, although in different ways.
glad you liked it!

Participantre-creates a scene that happened in my RPG a few months back.
well, there wasn't much that had much chance of stopping Powera as she
smashed through the military base. but there was at least one thing that
caused her to pause and slow down…. Alundra Blayze and her superhumanly enhanced social charms….certainly looks like it's working on Powera…

ParticipantSpeaking which, I'm very taken with his recent She-Hulkie /w a ponytail – if I was looking for one that captured essence one of my leading female characters that would be the one I'd want him to draw for me. 8)
agreed Alex, that's one of the best works that Jean's ever done.
He's really been doing extra good lately. His art has been great ever since I've seen him, but lately, he seems to be really doing well, with some subtle improvements in his art.
He has been taking art classes at college for the last semester (his break from college is over at the end of this week), so maybe that's providing him an outlet to fine tune his craft.
and, just to tease everyone, more Powera by Jean Sinclair to come in the near future!

ParticipantAh, evil doesn't always appear as a monster, hideous to look upon, sometimes it wears a pretty face . . . 8)
which provides a great lead in for me to say that I think Jean did a particularly good job on Powera's face. Wonderful expression, just really captures her.
(yeah, I know, it's tough to look at the face sometimes. 🙂 )
I mention it in particular since I've seen some (probably fair) comments on the board about other pieces where Jean's work on a woman's face was a little off in the eyes of some posters. This time, I think he hit it out of the ballpark and got it perfect.

ParticipantGreat background on Fuerza!
thanks for the compliments. glad it's liked. 🙂
I really like how what would have ordinarily been a doped out mite-head future ended up becoming something more constructive.
yeah, that is one of the cool things about the character. She could have been a nobody, or a horrible menance, if things have gone differently. It was the influence of some good people that pulled her to a better path in the long run.
in fact, Fuerza will probably be more "constructive" in the future, although she'll never be stereotypical hero. In a recent plotline, several characters were kidnapped into the future by a cosmic evil that wanted to eliminate their influence on the timeline, and Fuerza was swept along. As each person escaped back to the present time, various forces they would responsible for creating / inspiring materialized in the future to kick butt against the forces of evil there. (Mr. N made it back, an race of AI robots showed up to help, Lady Dragon made it back, soliders of the "Dragon Alliance" deployed, Olga made it back, and the future Olga, Protectress of the Galaxy materializes, and so on). It took her a while to think it through, but Fuerza realized that when she stepped through the time portal back to the present, nothing materialized in the future. This lead her to worry that she wasn't doing anything to leave a legacy. So, she's been having her smarter friends help her organize a "Fuerza Foundation" that could do charitable work, helping kids with learning disabilities and assist students from disadvantaged backgrounds with their education. So, Fuerza has been on a tear using her power to earn money to fund some good things to be done in her name. Further proof of the good influence of people like Olga on those around them. 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to give us her "Official Handbook of The Shag Universe" entry. 😉
No problem. I can go on and on (as proved above by the rambling I just did). I'd call this an entry in the "Offical Handbook of the States of Grace Universe", as I've got other universes. 🙂
(some of my players have been trying to put together wiki for the campaign world, but it's really quite sparse so far…)
Thanks for the kind comments!
