ParticipantAgreed. Thank you- this is excellent news.

ParticipantBoinaka’s shared a lot of good advice, here.
I would add (also not as any sort of administrator) that while stories could be posted directly to the site at one point (and you can even see the categories in which they were posted), it was asked some years ago that we stop doing that. Instead, the preferred method, now, is to post the story to a site like deviantart or furaffinity, then post a link here, like so:
Sylph in Morning Routine: The very first Sylph story, in which the titanic teenager explores some of the difficulties involved in being an over-sized woman in a normal-sized world.
Hope that helps, and I look forward to reading your writing!

ParticipantThat’s not a thread discussion; that’s an echo chamber. A discussion entertains alternative views, whereas that thread serves only to bash women who have worked hard to become bodybuilders.
A number of the posters on that thread stated that female bodybuilders are too manly for them; I’m inclined to agree- any woman who has the grit to put in that much effort, sweat through that much pain, and put up with that much crap from society is probably too manly for one of those prissy, self-righteous, ignorant dick-drips. Of course, so is any real woman…

ParticipantI suspect a lot of authors have moved on to other things, for various reasons. I, myself, am still writing, but I’ve been writing superhero fiction; while there are still strong and muscular women in my stories, they are no longer the focus of the stories. Part of the reason for this is that I enjoy the superheroic genre. Part of it is because I can work on these stories in my free time at work- something I would be pretty uncomfortable doing if I was writing even a story as innocent and clean as a Sylph story. And part of it is simply that the superhero fiction I’ve written seems to resonate more with audiences than any of the various femuscle stories I’ve written.
So, anyways, that’s where I’ve gone, at least. You can find my newest writing on Whisakedjak’s dA page– heck, you might even like the stories about Tyche and Heretic. I invite you to check ’em out.

ParticipantI believe there is an error, even so, as I am not a new member- I’ve been around since the very first Sylph stories (which were mine). Lingster is aware, however, as I sent him a message and he responded. Right now, I think the only thing to do is sit back and wait.

ParticipantFor the record, I suspect I’m with you. Not entirely- I do *hope* that Hollywood will eventually manage to cast an athletic woman or two, preferably ones capable of acting and carrying a story, but I ain’t holding my breath. In the meantime, I don’t mind when other kinds of beautiful women are cast as powerful and strong, physically or otherwise.

ParticipantAll good here.

ParticipantI think the real issue is that my computer’s processor kind of blows- I’m currently running an AMD Athlon II X4 645; I suspect I need a serious upgrade. I also want to upgrade my RAM (I’m running 6GB) and my GPU (an nVidia GeForce GTX 670). So… basically, I need to upgrade the whole system. This is what I get for investing in a new hobby…
As of right now, Iray simply won’t end the render even after time runs out… I set it for 7200 seconds (2 hours) and then left it overnight and until I got home from work; it was still chugging away when I got home. And cancelling made the system hand completely.

ParticipantPersonally, I’m still trying to figure out how to get it to stop hanging when I try and end a render. So far, I get better results with Lux, although it takes just about forever on my dinosaur.

ParticipantI’m going to take a guess that she’s Jill St. Laurent, based on the HerBiceps datetag at the end.
