The Muffin man
Participant๐ An opportunity to shill out your stories? Heh, I'd be a bit annoyed if they weren't awesome ๐ ๐
The Muffin man
ParticipantAlso incorrect.
I don't mean to argue, but I've seen Fashion Models as "superficially pretty". I.e they just look good because the pictures are either air brushed, or they are just so…standard.
Laura Bass was honestly very attractive and not "bland".
Just my opinion, of course ๐The Muffin man
ParticipantUm, it's clearly a U.S. Government sponsored military organization. And I agree with Dave – my comics buying and movie attendance have both declined since both media began producing so much anti-American propaganda. I've paid to see two movies this year – I used to taken in three or four a month.
Err, no. SHIELD is not American Military. It's like the UN. The UN is not a US organization.
The President signed the act itself into law. He did not explicitly give SHIELD the authority to basically declare war on superheroes. Tony insisted it was "necessary", and after the Stamford incident, the President was pretty hard-pressed to disagree.
There is no "Anti-American" anything in comics.
Just because every page isn't lined with Pro-Bush slogans doesn't mean they hate America. The Muffin man
ParticipantJust an update on a previous thread, the Oggy clip, which I remember being much more impressive, is here:

Err, how does this pertain to the thread? Isn't this for FEMALE muscle? Not cat/roach?

ParticipantThis (among others) is one reason why I don't buy Marvel or DC anymore – I am so heartily sick of this whole "US military=evil" sh*t.
One of these days I'm going to do a comic wherein the military are the good guys, for once.
Hate to break it to you, but SHIELD(who was largely responsible for the Superhuman Registration Act of Civil War) is not the US military.
In fact, the only thing the US Military was guilty of was following orders. And even then, SHIELD did about 99% of the Non-Iron Man dickery of Civil War.The Muffin man
ParticipantEh. She just seems so…standard. There's nothing unique or special about her. Her hair, her face, her eyes. It's all so boring. I mean, yeah, she's attractive. But it's like…So what?
The Muffin man
ParticipantThat's interesting, because I'm more impressed with the media of Europe's FBB's than America's. Wasn't there a French teen bodybuilder featured on the news? What's her name, Gaston Kristina, or Munoz Pastory?
There was Sarah DeHerdt or something. And though my French is about as rusty as the Titanic, I think they made quite a few mentions to how she was very cute, so it was flattering too!

ParticipantIf "you mean business", why not change a MAJOR CHARACTER?
When was the last time anyone cared about Pantha or Knockout? See, killing off Flash/Kid Flash was a step in the right direction.
Though they brought Wally back.
And they claim Bart's not dead. The Muffin man
ParticipantI'm thinking of posting my new stuff to MetaCafe instead. YouTube is so 2006.
That and all it takes is one random click for it to be considered "inappropriate", and during maintenance those are the videos that never work.

ParticipantGiven that most of the video and photos of her are from when she weighed around 185 pounds, the increase to 190-something won't be THAT dramatic – she went down to 179 pounds for a photoshoot or something. It'll still be good, though! What makes me laugh is that most 5'9" women would faint if they stood on their bathroom scales and saw anything like 180 appear on the display. ::)
What about someone 5'7" who sees 220lbs? ๐
