    Nice work, dear Axel.

Though the subject doth remind I of the notion that all bodybuilders (regardless of gender) must be utterly fearless because of their strength. The antipode could never be so true.

It was recalled when wokring out in gym, the only other person in the weight room was an aspiring female bodybuilder was happened to arachnaphobic. This was discovered when a spider, probably no bigger then your thumb nail, crawled across her weightbar and over her hand. She was so frightened by this, so afeared of this tiny spider, that she let out a piercing skriek, dropped the weight (no more than 50 kilos of so) and leapt a metre across the floor, into my’s arms. Because I’s happened to be walking past at that very moment.

When I’s inquired what she was so afeared of, she said a monstrously huge spider had just tried to attack her. When I’s went to inspect this claims, as well as the damage done the floor and weights, I’s lowered my’s self to the bar (with her still around my’s neck) to find the tiny spider squeeshed beneath one of the plates.

I’s almost went into hysteric until I’s found my’s self have to explain to the lady’s pro-am bodybuilder boyfriend why his girlfriend had just screamed and what she was doing hanging around my’s neck.

The memory still brings a chuckle to this dry throat.

Thank you again for the work, dear Axel, and for the reminder of the memory.

    Peace

For a villianess that Dyna could fight, you cannot go past the classic "seductress/controller" villianess, but do not resort to cliches such as pheramones or simple magic charms.

Here is a thought: if the powers of the so-called Ancient Gods can be bestowed (like Athena bestowed upon Deena to make Dyna), can they also not be stolen?

What is, many years ago, a woman called Helena (after Helen of Troy -one of the great ancient beauties) somehow managed to steal the Love/Sexual/Beauty based powers of Aphrodite for her own corrupted means -that is to remain forever youthful and beautiful (she looks like a reverse Aphrodite, with long jet black hair, dark eyes and pale skin: a more deadly form of beauty, though still with the classic bust and hips) but she finds, after time. that she can control the Hearts of men and cloud their minds. But, in her rage and wisdom, Aphrodite cursed Helena’s power to fail against the strong willed (male or female) and they are to be premently broken when her victim (any man or woman that she controls) is confronted by their one true love (be it a person, object, notion, metaphysical personifaction, etc).

So, Dyna’s dilemma fighting Helena would be releasing her slaves from her control without hurting them and, worst of all, Dyna finds Helena is unwittingly control her boyfriend and Dyna is torn betwix revealing her true identity to him in order to save him and risk being discovered by Helena and her other foes or defeat Helena through other means and methods.

This is were another idea comes into play: that of Dyna having a sidekick and allies who asist her. Also in possession of God-like powers.

Her propsed (later) sidekick is called Herma -a former street thief who Dyna (unwitting) set on the right track and who has been blessed by the powers of the God-messanger (and also former theif) Hermes. Herma has the power of speed and limited flight (in the form of extended jumps and levetation) and she also relies on her streetsmarts to save her neck whenever Dyna can’t. She is cocky and argumentative but loyal to Dyna, who slowly warms to her over time. It is pretty much the cliched sidekick idea, but I’s am sure that you make something far more original of it, dear David.

For allies, I’s have considered four. The first is Clara The Huntress, avatar of Diana and based in Europe but often comes to America in pursuit of Ares’ men and schemes as well as other Rogue Gods and Criminals. She is not as strong as Dyna but far more athletic and agile. She acts grudging and jealously towards Dyna, believing she is wasting the power given to her by hiding it away and trying to live a normal life (you can use this as a means for Dyna to justify her lifestyle), but she always helps her in the end (though Dyna helps her more often than not). Her appearance is more tradional Amazon in style, split-skirt, breastplate armour and a transformable bow and arrow as her weapons but she has a Greek/Eastern European look in terms of her face (a sharp beauty, like Suzana Kornikova) with dark eyes and hair.

The 2nd two allies for Dyna are the twin children of Hades (God/Guardian of the Underworld) and Persephone (Goddes of Spring), Hiros (male) and Arados (female), reborn in mortal form so they can help stop the machinations of the Rogue Gods (such as Ares) and aid humanity in anyway they can. Spending a few thousand years within the walls of Dis (castle-home of Hades & Persephone), they have developed a curious afinity with people and, after listening to cries of the ancient souls who still reside within The Underworld of Hades (remembering that the Greek Underworld is not any like our modern version of Hell but rather a multifascited place with the Stigian Pits as Puninshment and the Ellysium Fields as Paradise all within) and to the visions of the Orecles, they have discovered a plot against the mortal realm and have vowed to save it. Both have, thanks to their parentage, powers of both nature and the Dead. Hiros is the more active of the two and has the retained his father’s ability to turn invisble at will as well as summon Ancient Spirits to aid him (though being in mortal form quickly drains him of his energy when doing either) as well as possessing limited weather control powers (such as summoning rain, snow, wind as well) while Arados is the more contemplative and has the power to control and communicate with planets and animals as well as being able to draw peoples mortal souls from out their living bodies at will (though being mortal means she has less control over this power and she can accidently hurt and kill people when she gives into her urges and emotions). Their appearance is based upon the notion of the Taiji (Yin Yang from Daoism), Hiros wears mainly white clothes with black trim and has black hair and totally black eyes whilst Arados wears all black but has white hair and eyes.

The last ally is simply called Nemesis and is based upon the Ancient Greek myth of a being or thing that is the Earthly personication of the God’s Wrath or Anger directed against the wicked or unjust. The Nemesis would most likely be an alien robot of some kind that Ares is trying to gain control of for his own evil scheme but it has bonded with Dyna and her quest for Justice and wants to be free of the guilt and bondage of serving the Will of the Gods.

    Well, there you have them.

It is hoped that you at least find one of these ideas useful in your creations.

Good luck with all your work, dear David.

    Peace

The Pimp would just like to make a few points on this topic:

    1. A "real amazon/muscle women sighting" board sounds all well and good, but it will need strict moderation (to ensure no SPAM content) and we must first consider what is considered appropriate to post -i.e: what type of women, what level of muscularity, etc.

So, it would take much time and commitment in order to set such a thing up, so can anyone truly spare the time to make such a thing so.

    2. As for photogrpahic content: it is actually illegal to post faces of people in candid photos without expressed permission. Same laws as when you broadcast a "real life" television show (such as Cops) are in play we you post photo to the internet.

Sure, there is no one to enforce such a law, but if you are discovered doing such an act, it can cost in the long run.

That is why such sites as Candid Dingdongs (or whatever the name is) always take their photographs just below the neck line (as well as to capture the breasts of their intented subject).

And, thirdly, after working many long years in bars, taverns, pub and all places that alcohol is severed, one thing has remained as true: most barmaids are completely crazy and more than capable of defending themselves -especially the ones we call ‘Lifters". That is the Ladies who haul kegs all days and night, giving them the arms you so crave. They are more than able to defend themselves against the, no offense, usual type of people who frequent this types of Boards and Forums.

And if, for some reason, one does take to stalking one of the women, it is not her you have to contend but a army of bouncers who do not take to kindly to anyone harssing the staff. Even if the lady is more than capable to defend herself, there is always one Galient Guard who shall come to her side in such times.

Well, The Pimp thinks that all is covered in his sight now.

Fine work, dear pdub, but a question: what didst thou not post this thread in the art section?

You probably would get more responses there and it does seem more apt.

Just a consideration. But thank you for the art and the post.

Excellent work once again, dear David.

I’s am glad to see you delving into character and displaying their faults (Satin’s insecurity, her boyfriend’s displeasure, etc) rather than just keeping them as Super Hero cliches and standards (powerful woman and loyal but naive boyfriend).

Kudos to you and your work.

In answer to the second ponderence, there are two possible answers:

Answer one, taking the dominant/subjectant view: None, that’s what they have lesser beings for.

Answer the second, taking the view of equality is: One, but things are more often more fun with friends.

But these are merely the answer of my’s idle Brain.

What shall others consider to be the Truth of this Matter?

    We shall see.

You’ve given her a masculine surname. Being female, she should have an "a" suffix (pronounced "ah") at the end of the name; hence her last name should be Katalina Tromomskya.

I’s was not aware of that fact, dear Glammazon.

I’s in fact did not even choose the surname but rather take it as a suggestion from The Shadow. That is not asigning him blame but he is rather more creative when it comes to constructing monikers and has had far more recent dealing with Polaks in order to conjure an appropriate name.

But thank you for you post. It will sure be remember for future endevours.

The Pimp is pleased with both forms of growth -only as long as they make sense to the plot and character of the tale.

And The Pimp is ardently opposed to the tales where one loses size to fuel another -no matter their gender- because one should not be repressed in order for another to stand in power.

That is not to say that The Pimp disproves of others writing and enjoying them. Far from it. They are merely not viewed by these eyes.

Although, as some would say hyprocyful, tales of revenge in terms of equalling out power (a woman grows to the size of or larger than her tormentor) are approved of and enjoyed, as long as they are well written and do not resort to needless bloodshed and gore for the sake of indulging a fetish. The Pimp has seen enough of that in life, it needs not be viewed in leasure.

Though that being said, The Pimp will not grudge others their pleasures.

And thus this rave is over.

    Peace
