ParticipantI write in silence.
However, all the rest of the time when I'm researching and thinking about writing, I pump up the volume on heavy metal tunes from such bands like Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, and Nightwish. I also like movie soundtracks, and even the occasional movie to play in the background as I work. However, when it comes time to actually write, I write in silence and go someplace else and hammer away at the keyboard.
Also, I think this went unanswered for a while because it was posted here before there was a writing Q & A section. It probably wouldn't hurt for it to move down there, but until then it's fine where it's at. 😀

It could have been told in less issues. Not only that, but the storyline of the first few new issues of Green Lantern had to deal too much with the new Infinite Crisis instead of trying to find its own legs. The best storyline of them all so far has been the one where he went to the Manhunter Planet and confronted the cyborg superman and rescued all the lost Green Lanterns.
(and Green Lantern Corps is doing a decent job of portraying the space cops but no one's been giving it much credit sadly :'(.)

Just so you're not left feeling bad and associating our beloved interest with something rather disgusting, philos (my Greek stinks) is just a word for love. Other words for love in Greek include eros, which is erotic love, and agape, which is unconditional selfless love. However, because fmgphilia is unpronouncable unless you smush all the letters together, perhaps femusclephilia would be a better word. 😀
