As he said, most times anime tries to do a muscular woman, they come up with a character that looks like a man with tits. (Can I use that word? let me check… yes, I can use the word "man".)

Heh, a lot of anime is infamous at, um, blurring gender lines.  if you've seen the Project A-ko anime (the 86-minute movie, not the series), one of the running gags is that every single character in that movie is female.  A-ko, B-ko, and C-ko, the main characters, are all female (despite being a love triangle).  The gargantuanly butch school bully? Female, with a ludicrously cutesy voice.  The alien minions sent to retrieve C-ko?  Female.  The alien ship commander who speaks with a male voice?  Female!

Woot, yes, always great to see more of the stunning Tetsuko.  One has to wonder how she slipped into the doorway unnoticed.  She must have incredible powers of stealth!

And DCManga may not be authentic manga style, but I love it to death anyway!

Oh yeah, I don’t think anyone should be ashamed of that effort. I enjoyed this story and the way it made Hank so completely unsympathetic, so I didn’t mind seeing the deck stacked so badly against him, and had no qualms watching his destruction to the bitter end. 🙂

I did sympathize quite a lot with Nadine, and I loved how superhumanly large she got by the end. But I’m not sure if I like her character better at the end of her metamorphosis. I would’ve liked to see into her head more, to better grasp how her personality changed over the course of the story (if it did at all), as most of what we see of her through the middle of the story we saw through Hank’s eyes, whose judgment I wouldn’t trust farther than I could throw him.

Heh, the preface to the Necklace somehow got attached to Passages… oog, if only I could read two stories at once, I’ve read the first four chapters of each and I can’t stop!
