ParticipantOn a side note, (minor spoiler) it's too bad that the unrepressed Jessica doesn't become buffed . . . 😉
[/quote]Jessica would be Nikki's alter-go, right? [thank you, wikipedia! ;D]
I was actually going to do this drawing as a two-some, back-to-back, but then decided she deserved a drawing all her own. I have one planned, of a She-Hulk style transformation. Finally, a chance to give Ali Larter the tits nature really intended her to have (before that mix-up at The Waystation – I hear at least two Seraphim have lost their wings over that one…)Yatz57
ParticipantHow about save the Syler? Assuming there's anything left when she gets done with him. ;D
Careful with the spoilers, guys! We're only at episode 5, over here…

ParticipantDamn, Jed, I think my community spirit is running on empty from this one ::)
Let's see if anyone's ever stupid enough to take on a challenge like this in the future xD
Thing is, Kully, although you ran out of patiance for this a long time ago, you stuck it through and brought it to a successful conclusion. I find that to be very admirable. Many thanks – and, though you might not be taking on any new community projects any time soon, I will be happy just to see new art from you ;D

ParticipantHOLY SHI—!! Truly awe-inspiring. Looks like something that might cure me of my years-long hatred of gaming…

ParticipantThe Intuos is expensive – about twice the price of a Graphire, which I used to have – but once I got to work with it a little, I just had to go out and get one.

ParticipantI think Slott is doing an over-all solid work – and I for one am ready for the downsizing of the hilarity factor – but the art has been… not very exciting. It seems like Marvel went out of their way to downplay any cheesecake overtones, choosing a "quirky" artist like Bobillo to launch the title, and having him followed by a string of very pedestrian artists (Will Conrad being the one exception).
I agree that her FF run was the best of her career, definetly the most fun read till Slott. Slott did more to develope her as a rounded character, but the FF years are where you want to go to, first. I know I fell in love with her then (issue 275 certainly played a part…), and they are the reason why John Byrne will probably beat the odds and end up in Heaven.Yatz57
Participant…It's the lighting. I know exaclty what lighting I want, and I know the colour theory I was going to apply, but… there's something about working out the shadows in this pic that puts me off. I just can't bring myself to colour it. I don't think I can colour it the way I want to. The composition of the characters and enviroment and light source don't work with the colour composition – or something…
WTF??!! Are you turning artsy-fartsy on us, Fett? Just get off your ass and do it, solider!
Seriously, it's a great image and a great drawing, would be a pity not to take it "all the way".February 15, 2007 at 1:04 am in reply to: Amaz0ns.com artist community pic – would you join in? #46830Yatz57
ParticipantJed – that drawing is truly breathtaking.
