ParticipantBeautiful, beautiful piece. Can't believe just one guy bid for this…

ParticipantBeautiful piece. He has a very nice touch with the shadings, and the faces are really nice. I usually dislike manga, but this sort of "fusion" style really works for me.

ParticipantReal nice – if you forget the Big Barda connection. Don't like people fucking around with BB (unless it's me, of course).
And – off topic – VIVA LA FRANCE!! I'm holding my fingers crossed for your guys (if only for the thought of Le Pen getting some more egg on his face!)

ParticipantMmm… Seems like being color blind does (occasionally) have it's advantages… But, hey – not one word about those nice abs and lovely biceps? I feel I did improve in that respect on Scott Kolins' action figure-style body in the original drawing (though, admittedly, I did leave out some of the veins).

ParticipantDAMN! Look at the tu'ches on that girl! 👿

ParticipantFlashHEART: The higher the quality of the work, the more scrutiny it deserves. I didn't mean to make you self-conscious or anything. I critique because I care
And it's much appreciated. I'm so absent-minded that, no matter how good the drawing might be, overall, I always (always!) fuck up on some detail. I sometimes see it myself, usually after I scan it, but lots of times not even then. Part of the reason I do and post those drawings is in order to get the feedback, and maybe learn. So – critique away, brother, critique with confidence and pride!

ParticipantflashHEART – are you kidding me? I scream in joy and dance around the house if I just get the eyes on the same level…
About the model – I had a small pic of the actress in the movie, and I modeled it on her, but didn't work too hard on the similarity, as this takes me too long (I do it for a living – I know!)Yatz57
ParticipantGood Lord, I just can't stop…!

ParticipantI'm not quite sure how to put this question – I have a talent for putting people off with a few ill-chosen words – but I'll try.
The thing is, about 2 years ago I quit drawing the muscle gals – I was actually turned off to the whole thing (and this after about 25 years)… The reason, I figured, was just me getting sick of stuff I was doing for other people, which was way too violent or sexually explicit for my own (rather mundane) tastes. Now, I seem to be "back", with the drawing fever in full force, but I would also like to be able to make a bit of money doing it… So, my (very practical) question is: are there any venues – outside of LH-Art, Awefilms etc., where a guy could sell nice, family-oriented drawings of big, iron-muscled women, possibly fucking nice, contended men – or other women (I didn't specify which family this would be oriented towards!). I don't think eBay would be a good choice – people are complaining my "normal" women are too muscular, as it is… So, if anyone has an idea or a suggestion, it would be very welcome!I wasn't sure about the proper place for this post, so I put it as a reply to my original one, making it easier to move – if necessary

ParticipantThanks, guys. I bow my head in shame, re the feet – I worked really hard on the body, and just couldn't be bothered to do the hard stufff… Shame, shame. Here's the original drawing, in which the feet are better (and which, on the whole, I like better than the color)
BTW, Alex, I recently caught a couple of old Smallvile episodes, and I gotta say that the new Lois Lane is definetly not your father's LL. That girl has got some serious curvature going there! Also… I posted another sketch, in a new thread, and I got some questions I would appreciate you guys answering. TIA 😀
