The most important thing to remember when creating a character is this:

    Karate Chimp Sidekick.

If you have that, everything else falls into place.

Ah.  Firefox won't let me click on it, so no insight for me.  C'est la vie…

What is that tiny little gray square to the left of the first panel?  Or is Firefox not displaying the images correctly? (wouldn't be the first time.)  Or am I hallucinating? (wouldn't be the first time for that either.)

Wow, the Blanka girl is pretty cute.  And THIS:

A female version of Ryu or Sakura in 10 years? YOU BE THE JUDGE.

Sorry, I can't help unless you mail the thing to me, otherwise I would.

I do have a question about the comic though:  Is this the Elseworlds story where Supergirl is drawn with  really short hair and the Joker is infatuated with her?  He ends up taking the Venom formula so that Supergirl will notice him?

Whoo.  Still my favorite artist on the boards, and this is the reason why!

Well, granted that Wolverine could actually penetrate Ultimate Hulk's skin/skeleton, he could always just go for the 'ol lobotomy shot (that is how the Wasp took him out in Hulk does Manhattan IIRC).  But yeah, it really has nothing to do with how effective Wolvie would be against Hulk, but how effective a Wolvie vs Hulk story would be against the readers' collective wallets.

I am actually kinda hoping that Jennifer DOESN"T turn into Shulkie (BLASPHEMY I know!), because the more I think about the UMU, the more I want it to be totally different from the regular MU.  Even though some of the creations that have came out of the UMU have been as lame as Hell (not a huge fan of ultimate Dr. Doom's new look, but they might make him into an alright character), it is different and kinda refreshing; which is why I even bother to read UMU books.  I think they should do this every 10 years or so.  Just wipe the slate clean and let new writers and whatnot just go to town reinventing stuff.  As long as they never put out another Megamorphs book EVER EVER EVER AGAIN.

I'm not the 6th Queer Eye at all here, but… what's up with the clothes?

Generic gym wear covered up with a coat that's a cross between a pirate captain and a Gestapo agent.  I guess they went with the red accents to avoid saying "Hey!  I'm a Matrix clone in drag with no shades!"

Still, coulda done much worse. 🙂

Well hey, they are just following modern superhero fashion.  I have seen plenty of new characters(or redesigned costumes) that have outfits pretty similar to this.  You know, if this movie was made in the early 90's, she would've had gigantic shoulderpads, 800 ammo pouches, and a g-string.

I am hopeful about this project.  The idea has lots of potential.  One of my favorite parts in The Incredibles was when Samuel L. Jackson's character was having the interview and he said "Superladies are always tryin' to tell you about their secret identities.  They think it strengthens the relationship or something."

The idea of Luke Wislon having to track down kryptonite or whatever (if she even has such a weakness) from various supervillains; maybe having to exchange naughty photos of her for them, … Well I THOUGHT IT WAS INTERESTING.  Hoo.

She was also in one of the first 30 issues of the previous run of Supergirl – the Earth Angel one (was it v3? I'm confused as the current run is dubbed v5…)

Anyway, she's in one issue of that.

I thought there were three Supergirl titles before the Peter David "Earth Angel" one.  One in the 60-70's, One in the 80's that was terminated in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and the one in like 88-92 during the Death of Superman, and THEN Earth Angel one.  Because I can't think of any Supergirl series between the current one and the Peter David one.

But anyhoo, I am pretty sure that is what series Scott was referring to with the Supergirl #6 issue.

The thing that I have always wondered about these muscle growth treatments is how does it affect heart muscle and gastronomical muscles?  All the research and articles I have read just goes into details about skeletal muscles.  I mean, that would be the biggest side effect to worry about.

Of course maybe the genes and whatnot that control skeletal muscle development is totally independent from heart and stomach muscles, cause I sure as heck ain't no bio-engieer scientist man.
