KeymasterCame across this post by Zoa Linsey @ Unrealmuscle.
Thought I'd pass it along to those here to enjoy. 8)
Thought you'd like to see what life is like in Japan (Okinawa) for me….my hubby and I just went out for a little Starbuck's…the Japanese are awesome people and so sweet! We took some vid of the response walking around, I think you'll be entertained (we were) ๐

I think so, too. Here's a feedback post by her. 8)
It's true the Japanese tend to be shy but if one person has the confidence to come up, then WATCH OUT. Then the group mentality goes CRAZY! That's what happened here. One person asked for a pic then next thing you know we had a crowd watching, clapping and asking for their turn for pics. I love their sweetness and their appreciation so I'm always happy to pose or smile with them.
I really think many bodybuilders don't realize what a gift they have and tend to be resentful of other people (I think maybe it's insecurity). Personally, I realize I look 'different'…I've worked hard for it…and view the attention as positive and part of my choice of sport. Very very few people have EVER been negative with me. Maybe 2 or 3 people in my whole career as a bodybuilder. And you're right, it has to do with being TALL, BLONDE, they love that Barbie look, it's like a cartoon for them!
So yah it's always fun here in Japan…..did u notice the guy doing pushups in the clip on the beach..LOL..he was trying to pump up before posing with me…so cute….

ParticipantYesterday was ‘high’ carbs…after moving and all the hectic stuff, feeling a little more scheduled! Hit my lowest today so now just coasting in. I’ve come a long way and happy to have made the huge changes in the last year. No easy task to go from 1 size to another but gotta admit I love being size 5 again! Perfect for hot Okinawa weather. Btw for all those who ask, I’m 5’10”–in FBB competed at 180#, 195# off season– in WPD I will be 155-160. I know I still have further work to do but happy with this transition over the last 9 months! Shout out to Coach D and all my crew who has been supporting me!
