This clip of Michelle’s bicep workout is unreal. Barbell curls of over 130 pounds. :woohoo: And she’s ridiculously hot! She could’ve been a serious pro contender.

Another that could do heavy on the barbell curls was Kris Luebke, think it was around 130#+ B)
I also recall footage w/ Andrulla Blanchette doing 90#/100# Dbells on the bench.
But the one that really caught my attention was Tazzie Colomb
doing pullups w/ a weight belt w/ 100# strapped to the chain.“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”

It reminds me that Dutchs can make some great achievements. Sadly, among all their tourists here I never spotted her or some woman approaching 10% of her level… 😛October 1, 2012 at 11:23 pm #110390AlexGKeymaster:woohoo: Thanks for these awesome pics of Hanny, sir Alex! 🙂

that hit the scene and in the mags at about the same time in the mid/late 80s.Besides Hannie, there was Juliette Bergmann, Ellen Van Maris and Erika Mes.

Tina was a walking Morph man. She was craaazy.
October 3, 2012 at 10:38 pm #110420AlexGKeymasterIn the yrs since she left the competitional scene,
Tina has taken on mythic proportions (no pun) with the FBBr fanboys. B)Every so often the topic of:
“What became of her?” and/or “Where is she today?”
comes up on some of the BBing forums.

I thought I paid her a compliment saying they LOOKED Morph – but weren’t
October 5, 2012 at 6:43 pm #110448JohnParticipantI can’t put my finger on it, but these older (80s and 90s) BBers were the best. Was it:
the big hair? (yeah I like it)
the big muscles?
the symmetry and proportion?
the beautiful faces?
the classy, elegant look?
the mainstream publicity (ESPN shows, American Gladiators, magazines on store racks)?
the low silicon mass injected over the sternum?
the awesomeness of discovering these older women in my teens, as opposed to today being 30-something discovering 20-something newcomers?or maybe it was a combination of all of the above. It’s more than just nostalgia. These women have a lot of qualities that are lacking or in low amounts today. Still there are some good muscle babes to surface now and again. If only all of them could have the staying power of an Annie Riviecco…
