I was always a huge fan of Lingster’s Amazon Artifact. For some reason, I’ve always found it to be incredibly exciting when a woman, having gotten some amount of power, lusts for more.

I am much more appreciative of the empowerment of a undersized, underdeveloped, and underappreciated female than of the disempowerment of guys. Having said that, I do appreciate many role reversal stories but tend to lose interest when the female is or becomes evil unless another female grows to even things out and allow some justice. Teasing can be great fun but not if it is violent or mean-spriited.
I really like the stories where the female is originally unaware of what is going to happen to her. For example, her growth is either the result of an accident or the result of a well-meaning equivalently nerdy male friend’s activities. All the better if the results develop to a point that is much more than he expects.
Sex described in detail is fine if the story is otherwise well-written and engaging. The stories that could stand alone without the sex scenes tend to be better stories in my experience. I suppose it is the difference between a FMG story that contains sex vs a sex story that happens to contain FMG.
Many thanks to all of you who have written and posted stories!

I’d say my favorite scenes seem to involve either that first several moments of shock and confusion, and the acceptance and "lust" for more.
Let’s face it, the moments of "oh my God, what’s happening to me" and "my muscles…they feel so THICK…like they’re GROWING" is vicerally arousing. But accepting that arousal and seeking more is icing on the cake.
"I could barely lift 200 lbs before, now I’m curling that much in each hand…and…(urrrrgh)…my arms are feeling so pumped…(uhhhh)…look at the vein in my arm! See it…(gasp)…throbbing? I could SWEAR it’s pumping more strength through my arms…"
"Ooooh! Look! They ARE bigger!! And I feel so much STRRRRRRONGER!"
Well I think you get the idea. Pumping muscles into futher growth is an orgasmic idea and probably gets thought of as such.
Of course it’s 12:15, Hurrican Ivan still hasn’t hit the New Orleans area, and I should probably stop babbling.
Oh, and if anyone wants to know my secret, send me a PM. It only takes my imagination seconds to develop a jaw-dropping physique. How ’bout you, ladies and gents?

February 28, 2005 at 12:14 pm #214AnonymousGuestmy favorite part in a role reversal story is definitely when the height change becomes apparent. ie when the shorter women is suddenly the same height as the man without her heels on. usually the man is in denial of the changes occuring around him. a great story like this is nomdreserv’s balance of nature, which i think is one of the best stories around.
March 2, 2005 at 7:56 am #215AnonymousGuestI agree the absolute best part is when the woman notices that she can see eye to eye with her man barefoot. Does anybody have a list of stories where this takes place VERY SLOWLY?

March 2, 2005 at 11:50 pm #217y498yatesParticipantThe problem, Ristard, is that there’s insufficient incentive for editors.
I feel like the biggest hurdle facing authors and artists is perceived apathy. I’m happy to spend hours on a single morph, for example, if I feel as though my time was "worth" it. I personally value praise, constructive criticism, and appreciation above any monetary incentive. I guess that is most actors’ draw towards theater.
The problem comes when you have a silent audience. Did they like it? Did they get it? Did I bomb?
When you have a bunch of lurkers who enjoy the work but don’t post, the artist doesn’t get a good sense of how their art is perceived. So, my question was simply this; how can we motivate lurkers to post?
I have been trying to figure out how to make a site that awards points based on contributions to the site. How do you make a lurker more active? Reward them for contributing. As things stand, I can easily take in all that this site has to offer and contribute nothing in return. If there was a point-based system where you had to pay 2 points to “buy” read rights to a story, for example, I’d find a way to earn my credit balance. So, an author or artist would receive a certain number of points in their account based on their contributions, then would use those points to be able to view other authors’ works.
This obviously poses a lot of questions. Does an author get more points for writing more words, for example, or is it the content that determines the work’s worth? If it is the content, who determines the value of the work? Is it a panel of judges?
I would also expect that there would be some number of points before someone is eligible for lifetime membership.
Just my two cents – American not Canadian. ;o)

This scene is absolutely burned into my brain!
"Hey, Cliff, notice anything different about me?"
That being said, I am with some of the others who like to see happier endings.
One idea that I had was a sequel to "Popped" by Warren Vehec. I would like to imagine Rose and Cindy Ann developing the same magic juice that Lola had created. And what if all of that muff diving that Rick is "forced" to do results in HIM eventually growing? This has the promise of unending cyclical growth! If only I had the talent to put something like this down in type…
March 3, 2005 at 12:18 am #219Mark NewmanParticipantGetting appreciation for writers (or artists) is always difficult. I find the following helps.
* Communicate with your readers. Respond to comments. Show your readers’ that you appreciate their contributions too.
* Make story writing a two way process, so that readers feel they are part of a dialogue.
* Comment on other writers’ works. Other writers have the same needs you do. Join the community.
To answer the other post, sometimes happy endings just don’t work for me. But I hear you guys, I really do! Now tell me what is a happy ending? For example, are we FMG fetishists happier when guys regain their strength or when the girl keeps it? Certainly sometimes we’re happier when the guy and girl stay together, but who should be on top?
Maybe this should be a separate topic: "Alternative story endings I would have preferred."
