ParticipantNow tell me what is a happy ending?
For me, a happy ending is one where the growth and ripping of clothes can go on forever! It’s all well and good [and erotic] to read about your best friend’s little sister growing into an 8 foot tall amazon with breasts that weigh more than you do. But then what? The growth is over.
I just never get tired of a girl growing out of her clothes!

ParticipantTo answer the other post, sometimes happy endings just don’t work for me. But I hear you guys, I really do! Now tell me what is a happy ending? For example, are we FMG fetishists happier when guys regain their strength or when the girl keeps it? Certainly sometimes we’re happier when the guy and girl stay together, but who should be on top?
Maybe this should be a separate topic: "Alternative story endings I would have preferred."
The girl should ALWAYS keep her strength and end up on top! 😛
To me, happy endings are when the girl and the guy stay together. Even if she’s a little bit psycho. The only endings that really disturb me, are the ones where the guy ends up in his lowest and the girl looses interest in him. For example: Gayle and a few of your other stories. You can be very cruel to your readers. 🙂
Btw, today is a wonderful day, isn’t it? 😉

Same here! Just. Never. Gets. Old.

I know, the growth always ends, and then so does the story … until I write the next one!

Yes, I’ve done that a few times. The Lilly Lane story ended like that, and so did The Good Witch. And the "Oh No!" stories all had the main character losing their chance for strength and power to an undeserving woman. But that was the point of those stories.
Contrary to some feedback from readers, I didn’t think the ending in my Jilly Milly story was a negative. Sure, Superboy didn’t get his powers back, but Jilly Milly got her comeuppance and learned a few things, and Superboy seemed happy with his superpowered neighbor. What did you think?
And what about A Real Fantasy? Was it too depressing for the main character to lose all his strength? In that story, he got to keep the girl and live out his fantasy. Is that a happy or unhappy ending?
I can assure you that no real persons have ever been harmed in my stories.
And do you find the endings in the Brandi series depressing or enjoyable? Of course Mark never gets what he wants, but he always comes back and tries again in the next story. And Brandi certainly is never unhappy … in the end. Her power just keeps growing in each installment. (although I don’t know how I’ll make her any more powerful than she is now)
Anyway, I don’t want my stories to repeat themselves. I like to keep my readers off balance, so you’ll never know quite how my story will end. Let me know if I fall into any disagreeable patterns.
(Except that I can tell you now, the Mark in the Brandi series will NEVER get what he wants!)

I loved the Superboy story. I thought the idea of the kid loosing his powers to a loved one, who was his carataker (practically his mom), was much more impressive then if it was some hateful enemy (although that works sometimes). Jill Milly getting her comeuppance really saved the story IMO. But that’s just my opinion, since I’m not really into the "super-evil-bitch-getting-everything-she-wants" kind of story. The whole ending was really great, and I remember spending hours trying to imagine a world where suddenly all girls turned into flying, muscular super girls.
And what about A Real Fantasy? Was it too depressing for the main character to lose all his strength? In that story, he got to keep the girl and live out his fantasy. Is that a happy or unhappy ending?
The only thing unhappy about that ending was from his wife’s POV. Specially since she was starting to enjoy being stronger then him. But in a way, him and the crazy chick ended living their fantasy, so it was certainly NOT bad ending.

🙄

I never really took the Brandi stories very seriously. I always thought them as a surreal excercise of the same theme, in each segment. Ending with the bitchy girl always getting the power that was intended for the hero in the first place. The last chapter was even more surreal, with her becomming an egomaniac evil goddess and all. 🙂

I think it’s nice when writers are a little unpredictable. And no, I have no hope for Mark. I know that if he suddenly finds a way to gather the power of the cosmos into himself, he will eventually screw-up and give it to Brandi. And she will enjoy it a lot! 🙂

ParticipantI love when the girl gets determined to do something and everything proves to be useless to stop her.
I love that kind of woman, even more if they fight for other’s lifesMarch 9, 2005 at 6:00 am #227y498yates

For the record – loved them all.
Contrary to some feedback from readers, I didn’t think the ending in my Jilly Milly story was a negative.I agree with you, but I can see why some people would think that it didn’t have a happy ending. I think it’s hard for people to imagine Superman – easily the most beloved hero ever written – being harmed or "punished" in any way. Heck, they brought him back to life for that very reason!
I can assure you that no real persons have ever been harmed in my stories. Not true. I can’t go into details but… Oh nevermind. 😉
And do you find the endings in the Brandi series depressing or enjoyable? Why do they have to be mutually exclusive? Yes, I found them depressing – BUT I also found them enjoyable.
It will be a sad day when you hang up the keyboard… [shudder]

I’m happy to say I have no plans for that.

(although I don’t know how I’ll make her any more powerful than she is now)With the exception of the Jilly Milly series, I have read your file at Diana The Valkyrie, and the Mark and Brandi stories were hilarious! They are like the Mr. Bill cartoons of the FMG world.
I also like your Popeye fanfics. That truculent old sailor was creepy.
Brandi nears omnipotence at the end of the fourth story and making her more powerful would indeed be a challenge, but wouldn’t it be hilarious if Mark ended up becoming physically and inextricably grafted to Brandi’s butt? Oh the mental images I entertain! 🙂
After reading your stories, I thought the summary given by the site operator was somewhat misleading. The erupting musculature of the females is only secondary.
