ParticipantShe still doesn’t have nearly enough muscle, which is unfortunate. Also, it seems most of the transformation scenes are going to be quick 1-2 second transitions. Maybe it can set the precedent for future shows featuring Shulkie but I can’t say I’m too excited for this one. Will watch for the sake of getting SOME KIND of FM as barebones as it is.

Makes one rather nostalgic about the failed attempt at the She-Hulk movie w/ Brigitte Nielsen and aborted series w/ Mitzi Kapture and Gabrielle Reece.

yeah, I watched the series in its entirety. And I agree, the series wasn’t designed for muscle fetishists. But it does come thru with some muscle, so it does have some appeal.
Based on a lot of their messaging, I sense the series is aimed at your very average comic book consumer, and since they have a (somewhat) captive audience, that’s when/why they insert their social commentary.. like in the season finale’, the middle-finger they gave to the perceived misogyny of male comic book fanatics.
Even tho I (personally) felt some of the social messaging was heavy-handed (& patronizing). Because of my appreciation for the character, I’ll watch a season 2 if it happens.
