AlexGKeymasterSpeaking of being reminding, I seem to recall Diamond (Erika Andersch), Zap (Raye Holitt) and Siren (Shelly Beattie) in their AG uniforms geting interview / photo op spreads in either Muscular Development or Ironman magazine. π

AlexGKeymasterAnother one to keep an eye out for (I think it re-ran again this past week) is the Taboo series running on the National Geographic channel. The episode "Gender Benders" includes a 20 min segment on Female Bodybuilding mainly focusing on Betty Pariso & Rosemary Cheeseman, but there's several cameos by others. π

AlexGKeymasterI remember him doing the character a few times one with a little girl taking steroids and turning into Jim carry when she grew up. . . π‘
Which in turn was also a parody of the famous Public Service Announcement (PSA) for Milk with a girl putting down a boy who snubbed her. While she's touting the virtues of Milk, drinking it and growing (age progressing) into a beautiful young woman – pointing out along the way what he was missing out on.

AlexGKeymasterThank you very much..I will start posting pics with those rules in mind.
Thank you for your time.
No problem, that's what I'm here for. π
I'll be interested in seeing what you post, have quite a collection of her myself. π

AlexGKeymasterNice job on the scan, ZeFly, spiffy they are!Β π
Personally, its my opinion that whether born with, or acquired afterwards* the terms parahuman, metahuman, superhuman – in their application as classifications defy being narrowly construed to one side or the other.Β What matters is how the given writer of a story is using them in reference to the characters.Β The same could just as be easily said of "Homo sapiens superior" – for in actually, if that was to be used literally as a distinct and separate race, then they couldn't cross bred with Homo sapiens and expect to have sexually viable offsping, if any at all.
Case in point, the current scientific theory about Cro-Magnons and Neatherthals has it that genetically they were just close enough to have "possibly" been able to produce offsping, but in turn they'd be unable to have children of their own.Β In effect, muling out as a dead end on the evolutionary chain.
*The terms modified or retrofitted would work just as well, I think.

AlexGKeymasterHope you'll enjoy these. π

AlexGKeymasterHmmm, I seem to recall a Gen 13 and Fantastic Four crossover that came out a couple years ago, but not a She-Hulk and Fairchild issue.
Pity, once again you can always trust Marvel to drop the ball . . . π

AlexGKeymasterWhile searching out some of Giganta from DC Comics I noticed that there's pictures of Wonder Woman, Rita Farr (of Doom Patrol) and Lois Lane (holding a tiny Superman, no less) as GTSs over at the Giantess.com in picture archive section.
I might also add, that GTSKate's (aka Kate Manson) GTS Woman Woman story (golden age World War II version) is also archived there in the story section.
You have to earn points, tho, in order to be able to D/L them.

AlexGKeymasterSince this has come up in the past over in the Comics forum, Iβll try my best to outline the situation using my PM form letter answer, ever so modified for this question.Β Iβll only be addressing the issue as how it pertains to comic books and magazines.
=====
From my previous discussions with Lingster on this issue you can post html links or thumbnail links onto the forums to scanned pictures, but only so long as the scanned pictures in question are loaded onto another server other then Amaz0ns.
As for copyright concerns, the mainstream publishers will allow for a certain degree of reasonable fair use so long as you 1) Are only posting selected examples (with a disclosing source/origin mention, when and if possible) and are not attempting to reproduce the entire comic book or magazine in full (a major no-no).
Pausing here β
For example, if youβre going to post some pictures of, say β Cory Everson, use some logic about the quality of the given image and post only a minimum selected spectrum of her, after all – you don't need very many to get your point across.
Resuming again β
2) Are not taking any money in exchange for the work (this is a super serious concern of artists doing commissions who have to first obtain prior permission from the publisher before selling on eBay) and 3) Are not posting here from any newly released publications β an exception being, as in the case of comics as an example, of authorized artwork samples, such as can be found over on the Comic Book Resources website in the solicitations sections.Β After a reasonable wait, minimally four to six weeks later, then I think it would be alright to post selections of panels/pages from them – since that allows the publishers and especially, in the case of comic books, the store dealers a buffer of time to maximize their return on their investment*.
*Case in point, I have the most recent issues of MUTU #11 and Exiles #68, both have superb panels of the She-Hulk in them, but I wonβt be posting any scans until the allotted time from date of release as I've outlined has first passed.

AlexGKeymasterInteresting, revising the title to the first posted item does not bump up the thread to the top – will have to remember that in future.Β Β π
BTW – Scroll up to the first one, the extra scans are posted there.
