Hey, Debido…no reason to be embarrased.  The 16yr old kid behind the counter really doesn't give a damn.  Trust me, 15 years ago, I was one of those kids, more worried about the party that night than what some guy bought twenty customers ago.  Trust me, just march in and buy whatever the hell you want.

He's exactly right, in my many years at collecting comics I've never once had any problems with my personal selections.  In fact, the owner of the store that I currently patronize is very aware of my interests, and will point out a particular title/issue if he thinks I've missed it for its "proper" Amazonian coverage.

On the flip side, the only times I ever had the check out person (interestingly enough usually female, rather then male) give me a "What the – you actually like these women expression" was when I first started buying Women's Physique World magazine off the news stand.  Needless to say, after more then a few years of diligent weight training under my belt that stopped, whenever I picked up a copy someplace they naturally assumed that I must be purchasing it for my girlfriend / wife.   So go figure.   😎

marvel is soliciting orders for a new, ongoing, She-Hulk series, starting in October.  It will have the same creative team as the previous 12 issue mini, so expect the same superhero-lawyer stories. 

There's already a thread further down on the next page concerning the topic of solicitions for the next volume of the She-Hulk series.  Please, next time check for this before starting another one, ok?   😎

Hmmm, don't know about sexy, but its certainly is inspiring, especially when you need that extra push at times.  😎

But in all seriousness, the fact is, you're there for the task of working out and getting the scheduled goals – be it using the weights, doing cardio or whatever – accomplished for that particular session in the gym, case closed.

The collage was semi-inspired after the fact by a mythological based story that I wrote several years back – which included a Warrioress version of Aphrodite.  The aura is a visible energy signature of her assuming the stature of a Giantess Goddess and protector of the people.   😎

I think this was when Lorna Dane was merged with Malice, She'd draw off negative feelings to fuel her strength. There was a scene on Muir Island with her walking next to Moira McTaggert who only came up to her shoulder if I'm not mistaken. Malice gained entree into Lorna when her powers were sucked out by a woman in the Savage Land. Imprisoned she finds herself growing larger and stronger and breaking free rescues Colossus who is shocked that "she's as big as me!"
All this is from memory so I could have a few details smudged.

You've got the general plot correct, except she gained this new Amazonian power after Zaldane sucked her gravitic powers away.  Malice, also, seems to have abandoned Polaris as a host form shortly before that happened.

Cool beans Alex. I had most of the run as a kid, unfortunatly as with so many things childhood it has disappeared into the black hole of history.

If you want, at a later date I could post some scans from that Land of the Giants issue of the Warlord.
