AlexGKeymasterThree simple rules for writing public forum stories (aka vanity publishing):
1) Write about what you enjoy most – personal first hand experience and/or knowledge, is always a major plus.
2) Write it for yourself and the pleasure that it gives you and not to cater to the whims of an audience.
3) Have the basic concept thought out, i.e. a start, a high point and most of all a conclusion – these can evolve during the course of a story, but there nothing worse then having it stop cold in its tracks and leaving your readers wondering.
The rest – style and format is so personal in nature that what works for one person doesn’t necessarily translate in direct application to another person – sort of like bodybuilding techniques, if you think about it.

AlexGKeymasterJust tossing this out for the edification of those interested in Amazonian lore – came across it a long while back while doing story research.

AlexGKeymasterIn the late 70's or early 80's a comic was published called The Warlord. It was about an American SR-71 pilot that crashed into (Ant?)Arctic. Can you see what's coming? He flies through a hole into the center of the Earth. The whole comic is about his adventures in the center of the Earth.
In one he gets captured by a veritable race of giants, it showcases his relations with the Queen of the giants. He has the typical American disdain for royalty and she literally slaps him to the floor. The upshot is that he eventually kicks giant ass and wins free. Now, was this Marvel or DC I for the life of me cannot remember. It’s a DC publication – and I have the complete run from the intro-DC special of the character onward, with the annuals, too. 😎 The running debate at the time was when was he going to **finally** run out of ammo for his .44 automag auto pistol (then produced by Hi-Standard and made notoriously famous by Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry in the movie "Sudden Impact".
IMHO DC literally ruined what Mike Grell had created when they decided to no longer have it as a independent comic storyline from the DC universe. Instead, they turned Skataris from a hollow Earth environment (on the lines of that of Edgar Rice Burroughs) into an alt-dimension co-existing with that of the DC Universe during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. This came complete with a storyline that included a scantily clad Powergirl working with Jennifer, the Sorcereress Supreme of Skataris.

AlexGKeymasterI'd really like to get the comics and the stories he produced. Anyone know where I can pick 'em up? I tried ebay, but none there…
Kind of a long shot, but after doing some digging you might want to try and write to this address and inquire if they're still even available for sale.

Found it by clicking on to the moving Gif of Max squating the two comic book issues.

AlexGKeymasterSeems that I recall that the concept was used a number of years back (I suspect for its shock value) in the sci-fi movie "Total Recall" when the Martian hooker revealed all three of her assests to Arnold . . . 😎
Don't know why I didn't mention this before, but in the ERB's John Carter stories the Tharks possess four arms – when facing them done it makes for quite the arms full if they're using a multiplicity of weapons all at once. 😉

AlexGKeymasterI'm not really fond of GTS, but I'm still amazed at the quality of your work, especially the shadows touch. You could almost tell that' s a real one… Or did you find a really working growing serum???
Thanks, your praise is very much apprecated. Its something of a double pleasure to know that I can have that kind of admirational effect on those not normally inclined to enjoying Amazonian GTSs – or in the case of some others, my Minizons. By nature, I'm rather flexible in my interests about the fictional femuscular scene – which includes Transgenes such as M'ress or Tigra within that sphere of enjoyment. 😎

AlexGKeymasterActually it's the second Ant Man's daugther, Cassie, that's taken over the size-changing duties. I believe that she'll be doing mostly growing if her code name is any indication – Titan.
Z
Or conversely, when all grown up she'll be known as Stinger (in an Ant-Woman / Wasp motif) – at least in the not so distant future alt-reality of the Avengers: The Next Generation series. Which goes to show once again the flexibility of empowered female size-changing.

AlexGKeymasterThat was because the strip was closing. In an interview at his site (I think it's down now, gotta check), he said back when MD had a directive or board change (or something like that), they told him that his services weren't needed any more, the maghazine was taking a change of direction regarding FBB, so this chartacter was not in their plans. It was something that happened very quickly, something like a week, and not very polite i think, so he said good bye with that strip. If memory doesn't decieve me, all that shift think was extremly ironic.
I was about to relate the same info, but I see you beat me to it – albeit with this corollary. Lyman didn't abandon the strip, but tried to turn it into an independent series of graphic novels, including (if I remember right) having Quadra restored to her uberbuffed format. I believe that what's left of his Max Rep web site can be found linked onto the Truly Huge bodybuilding site.
As for more, maybe when I have the time I’ll attempt to scan-assemble the profile centerfold page that I have of Quadra, tho, I think Lyman vastly undersized her stated figures if you compare how he generally drew her while next to Max.

Update – I checked at the Internet Wayback Machine Archive and what do you know, found it.
The entry for October 18, 2000:

Don’t know how many of the graphics are saved, typical only text is backed up there, but here’s the complete list of saves by the Internet Wayback Machine incase anyone wants to have a go at it.
You'll have to cut and past this one –

AlexGKeymaster. . . has anybody had a chance, or even thought of taking a woman, and dressing her in clothing MUCH too small for her, rip it up a bit, and take pics? i figure that may be the closest way of getting the true image of a woman's growth…. hit me back. 😎
I think that Smitty was working on something of the like, "Moon of the Amazon", was the title for the video he was working towards producing. But its been a long while since I heard anything about it. You'll have to check w/ him over at his Yahoo group A Growing Concern. Also, there's an Awefilms video movie called "The Growth Experiment", w/ a downloadable trailer for reviewing the storyline, where the female scientist bursts out of her garments, including nylons, if I remember correctly, as she turns into a femuscular powerhouse. Lastly, and its a She-Hulk type TF, but there's a series of pictures on the Elena Seiple website of a guest FBBr poser doing a Gammazon routine (whose name at the moment eludes me). I seem to think there were a few of her with the pre-TF garments torn up draped over her femuscular frame. You might also want to check out http://www.giantess.com for any foot related video clips / pics, too.

AlexGKeymasterNice. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome, I'll probably tackle "Heroes for Hire" next, there's some lean, but nicely buffed She-Hulkie panels in that series . . . 😎
