    I've seen this style before — in that Metroid manga from a few years back, and also in the ending pics of Metroid Fusion.

    I wouldn't be surprised a bit if it were the same guy. There tends to be significant overlap between professional manga artists and fan artists.

    Dont get me wrong g…I liked the pics. Just when I showed it to peolple, all I got was how "bad" they were. So I was like meh…

    Silliness. I've watched your style improve greatly.

    Are they just hating because it's pics of muscle chicks? DBZ-like? something like that?

    For the forearms the biggest issue, I think, is figuring out where those two main muscle groups on the side of the forearm go, particularly how they twist. In particular, when hands are held palms up they don't twist at all.

    You have 2 arms, and can use them to get a rough idea of where the muscles go for various positions, even if you're not ripped and shredded like this babe. 🙂

    I started off simply drawing t3h animu. Like many other idiot wannabe artists I made the arduous, circuitous hermetic journey of studying form, expression, and anatomy so now I can draw animu characters that don't look like ass.

    Oh yeah I remember the Kong allright… ( Singing in Basso Profundo voice ) "King Kong, you know the name of King Kong, You know the name of King Kong…TEN TIMES AS BIG AS A MAN!!!"

    Do you remember the animated Godzilla? It had lyrics but I can't remember them just now. It had a bunch of teenagers and Godzilla's little cousin, Godzookie, who was a cute little dinosaur kind of in the same vein as Yoshi from Nintendo games.
