Rune Soldier is a 24-episode anime that relentlessly parodies fantasy tropes and archetypes, centered around a quartet made up a hapless idiot magician and a trio of pretty young woman. Notably, the series takes the unorthodox step of the warrior in the group be a muscular yet pretty woman named Genie, portrayed in the English dub by Christine Auten and in the Japanese version by Minami Takayama.
