The FMG fan reaction as relayed by Mark’s discussion with Celia is freaking hilarious.

It’s cool for our particular bent to get a highlight within the reality of the story.

Thanks Marknew742 for the story so far. I like how the authority figures actually give a damn about their young charges and are at least trying to make them feel better while attempting, not very well that is, to stay in control. 8)

This tale built really well. You started it slowly and grew the characterizations very well. The first person narration made it seem more ‘real’ and you never mentioned specific dates or times to suggest any particular ‘future’.

Only when you had the emotional connections established did you begin adding elements of the fantastic.

The faceless authors of The Crash suggest somethingh along the lines of cyberpunk Megacorp ministrations.

The growth was facilitated by a plot device that literally was that. I liked how this story became liken to a fable with the particular tone of the language used.

The narrator’s secret made me recall my favorite episodes of ‘The Outer Limits’ and ‘The Twilight Zone’.

Great stuff Neon. You keep on writing I’ll keep on reading. 8)

Regarding the 100 tons range.

This is the Ultimates ‘Universe’ after all.

It would be poetic justice to have the Ultimate ID monster Hulk get his rass trounced by a fire haired ‘not so much now’ slip of a girl.

As far as a ‘costume’ is concearned I have no idea. Haven’t read enough of Bendis’s version to get an idea of her tastes.

It’s awesome how Tia’s psychic sensitivity provided her with a gentle invisible guide to her body altering behavior during her formative years. She doesn’t go on the ‘teen FMG rampage of revenge’ for instance.
