    Femeninity, plain and simple.

We here like muscles on our ladies, but we also like them to have what makes them a woman. There are some fantasies that pertain to other sorts of "growths" that go along with muscle. But the majority of us here prefer voluptuous muscle women so it naturally comes up in stories.

As an illustrator/cartoonist who enjoys drawing women with huge breasts as well as huge muscles, I add a hearty "what he said!"

I think I can speak for at least a sizable number of the denizens of SG (the male ones, anyway) when I say that both halves of the expression "muscle-women" are equally important: if the attraction was just to muscle, we’d be homosexual; if the attraction was just to women, there’d be no need for this board, or ReXtra or the late lamented Wreck Shop forum since images of "ordinary" beautiful women are literally everywhere, especially on this here Web. But that combination of muscle and femininity is magic for us. And I know that in my own work I do tend to exaggerate both muscle and femininity.

Okay, I admit I jumped the gun when I hit the click. I wanted to share what I had, and get the kudos. Yeah, I’m bad that way… 😳 😉

I at first wanted to make his name Terry to make Deena think she was greeting someone female… But Pierre South was so cool, I couldn’t help myself.

And yes, that was a big-up/salute to The Electric Company. Back when kids’ Public TV was good.

I suppose I could make either Terry his nom de hack (TerryByte, anyone?) or his real name (Terry Boringnamehere)… or do the same for Pierre. I’m open to suggestions. I’ll also fix up the typos and errors a little later, okeh?

"TerryByte" is cute; but I like "Pierre South da Coder". I’d like to see that be his "nom de hack", and Terry…

Hey, here’s a thought: his real name is Terrence Babbage. (Babbage after the inventor of the first calculating machine that was the forerunner of today’s computers, and also the inspiration for the name of the game/software store chain "Babbage’s".) He’s only "Terrence" to his mother; to everyone else he’s "Terry" (or "Pierre")… he doesn’t even tell other people his full first name.

    Oooh, I’m lovin’ this…

So the kid’s name is now "Pierre"? "Pierre South, da Coder". Nice homage to… to… what was that show, Electric Company, had a character named "Fargo North, Decoder" on it?

(I think there are still a couple of spots where he’s still "Terry".)

Is "Pierre South" the kid’s real name, or just a screen name, a "hacker alias"? Is his real name still Terry?

[sarcasm]Blazingly original title there… "Supersize She". [/sarcasm]* I guess "Got Muscles?" was already taken.

I’ll be taping this to watch when I get home from work… I do like Joanna Thomas!

*like I have any room to bitch at someone else, when I can’t think of anything more creative than using fake HTML/BBCode tags… 🙄

A most excellent illustration, dear David, and indeed a most excellent piece of accompanying prose to help, as you say, "flesh out the picture".

Although, the picture does beg the question, as soem here have asked, what does happen to Dyna when she removes her Mystical Belt and how long would it take for her to revert to her normal Deena state. And is even possible for her to remove it or have it removed?

And, if it can be removed from her person, can an other take it and use to with the same results?

It begs many questions but also many ideas that may bear out for future use.

Thank you for the work and for the ponderance, dear David.

May your pen always be fruitful.

    Peace

    The Pimp NeonBlack

Some of the questions you (and others) ask about the Belt will be answered during the course of the regular series; don’t want to give away all the secrets yet!

Actually I was thinking of the ant-warriors as shapeshifters. Dyna thinks she is alone, but suddenly Pop! Pop! Pop! Human sized warriors come burst out of a colony in the wall. Remember that ant-soldiers would probably tend to use seamless teamwork tactics.

So many great ideas floating around… cramming them all into one story will be difficult. [Idiot! that’s what sequels are for!] Oh yeah.
