ParticipantI can see the image just fine; I guess whatever problems there were have been ironed out.
And that's pretty darn good for a first attempt! I'll let the professional morphers give you the tips on improving your technique; I'll simply add that I've always thought that Britney would look great with some muscle.
UPDATE: Uh oh, the picture's disappeared! Wha' hoppened?

ParticipantGREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!!
That's awesome!
Can't wait to see what else you'll come up with!

ParticipantI was so in love with her…
If I'd had the money (and clout); I'd have made a movie starring her!

ParticipantI recently started uploading some of my artwork on the web, but have no idea how to do it here. Would appreciate any pointers.. thanks..
If it's on a website (maybe the website you're uploading your artwork to?), use the image tags to put the picture in the message window. As an example, I'll use a picture on my website; the code to put it here would look like this:[code]
I'd delete it, but then the next two posts won't make sense.David C. Matthews
ParticipantDCM,
Oh yeah I remember the Kong allright… ( Singing in Basso Profundo voice ) "King Kong, you know the name of King Kong, You know the name of King Kong…TEN TIMES AS BIG AS A MAN!!!"
I'm NOT making those lyrics up (remember when 'toons had lyrics?) Check out the Toon Tracker website where you can download classic cartoon tv themes and clips.

Aw man, I was thinking about posting those lyrics myself! (I'm still convinced, that they're singing "King Kong, you know the name of King Kong, You know the fame of King Kong…TEN TIMES AS BIG AS A MAN!!!" although it's hard to tell from the .wav file at that site).
Topic drift much?

ParticipantUh, that was the Shropshire Slasher, Ashlee. π From Deduce, You Say. Still, your FMG variant's one of the better sequences I never saw.
"Name?"
"Shropshire Slasher."
"Occupation?"
"Shropshire Slasher."π

ParticipantMy GAWD I thought I was the only one who remembered Filmation! (FYI, they did He-Man, Star Trek and a pretty good Flash Gordon as I recall).

Oh no, my friend, you're not the only one! They did The New Adventures of Superman, and other DC characters in the '60s. They produced Archie, The Groovie Goolies, Fantastic Voyage, Journey to the Center of the Earth and others too numerous to list. They did the live action Shazam! and Isis shows.
But the one that was probably my favorite at the time (1969), was The Hardy Boys. Inspired by the famous series of boys' detective novels. It ran on ABC, in the same time slot as CBS's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?, which may explain why nobody remembers the Hardy Boys even had a cartoon incarnation! (Most people remember the later live-action series that made stars out of Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy; and if you're a real geezer like me, you may even remember a Hardy Boys adventure that ran as a serial on the original Mickey Mouse Club in the '50's!)
The success of "The Archies" in the Filmation version of Archie inspired the studio (and other studios like Hanna-Barbera) to try to convert almost all their later series' characters (or so it seemed) into rock-n-roll bands; and so it was with the Hardy Boys. I still have in my collection two LPs (remember them?) of songs recorded for the Hardy Boys series. They're actually pretty decent examples of "bubble-gum" pop, and I remember the songs fondly. I also remember a fondness for the female member of the "band", Wanda Kay Breckenridge. (It's her, not "Myra", I'm paying homage to with Tetsuko's last name.)
Probably WTMI (Way Too Much Information), but *sigh* that's when Saturday mornings were fun! Space Ghost, The Herculoids, Hot Wheels and Sky Hawks… does anyone else remember an animated version of King Kong?

ParticipantGee-zuz, she's BIG!
I mean, BIG!
…how'd she get so big??
π
You mean now, as compared to her size in this animation? Clean living and being respectful of her elders, I guess! π
Seriously, I've just been drawing her bigger and bigger over the years. If you haven't seen them yet, you might want to check out these two galleries (Gallery 1 and Gallery 2) to see how she's changed over the years. And if you haven't checked it out yet, you might want to read the story of how she got her size.
(Why, yes, I am a link whore. Why do you ask?)

ParticipantWhat I find is impressive (even more so then the fact that you can animate.. Ive tried everything and still can't XD) is that you've had her for so long!
My characters tend to die or get forgotten sometimes.. I think the oldest character I can remember is my Kina, who I've had for.. probably about six years, but she's pretty much forgotten.
Another older one is Veiya, and she's not quite forgotten… just not very popular.Just a curious question… is it that you weren't getting the response and feedback you wanted for these characters; or did you lose interest in them yourself?
A suggestion: since I was not familiar with your work until you started showing up in these forums, I'm assuming there are many others in the same situation. So maybe a relaunch of Kina and Veiya is in order! Even if it's just as a series of pictures… I'm guessing you might have a bigger audience here at Amaz0ns than in your previous venues.
But still! Hooray! Animation!
Hmm… maybe I should finish this thing! Great Maker knows I've wanted to do an animation of one of my charcters flexing her mighty muscles for… well, since 1999 at least!

ParticipantNice – tell me – how do you do your animations? They seem particularly quick and painless. π
Quick, maybe. Painless??? π π π
The same animation capabilities that the now-discontinued Dabbler program had can be found in Corel Painter, which does give you the ability to view up to five frames at a time via an "onion-skin" feature.
I don't remember exactly, but it's possible I drew the first image on paper and scanned it, but the remaining cels were drawn in Dabbler. (I somehow had the presence of mind to save out the individual frames as separate documents, so they can easily be brought into Painter if I was to get the desire to finish the animation – clean up and complete the drawings and add color, etc.)
It's actually only the third animation I've finished; the other two were just a single pic, parts of which I manipulated with transform tools in Photoshop. (These would be the "Cable Curl" animated GIF and the infamous – and NSFW!! – "Pec Dance".) The main complaint I – and others – have with those two animations that the only moving part is, well, the moving part; there are no eye blinks, no other subtle movements of head or other bodyparts, etc. So what I like about this clip is that it's full animation: almost everything that needs to move is moving – the head is turning so that the eyes are looking at one arm, the chest is rising, even the pecs are flexing a bit (and pulling the breasts up with them).
