That's by a Japanese artist who goes by Cornelius.  He/she(?) had a site called "The Daigos", which is now gone.  That's one of the images from it.  There's still some stuff on the wayback machine from the site, I think.

It isn't featured in any scene.  It's just in the opening sequence of the Sakura Wars 2 OAVs.  Kanna doesn't really show any muscle at all beyond that, sadly.

Actually, these aren't from Suikoden II, but rather Suikoden II Gaiden.  The Suikoden Gaiden games are adventure games rather than RPGs, but they are tied in to the main Suikoden continuity, I believe.

Really, any system is just an approximation of reality, usually with the emphasis placed on combat.  In D&D 3.5, a dire Elephant can run straight up a perfectly smooth wall without slowing down at all, simply because that's a situation governed by the "climb" skill, and Strength provides a bonus to climb.  A Dire Elephant's strength bonus is so high that they can basically defy gravity in this situation.  In other words, the realism of any given Tabletop Gaming System depends entirely on how well you know the system and how you can break it.

That being said, I think your explanation is sufficient for your purposes.  I think your intended playerbase will be perfectly willing to accept it.  It's SciFi, afterall.  It really just has to flirt with science, not be married to it.

The only concern that immediately springs to mind is ability score generation.  Obviously, special consideration needs to be given to the strength score.  Also, doing something special for the constitution score would be in order.  Are you going to go with some sort of point-buy or a modified version of the usual dice rolling?  Point-buy would be the way to go if you're afraid of players cheating on the rolls.

    Just my two cents.

Man, I regret not buying the Street Fighter tabletop game when I had the chance.  I could've had a blast with it.  I'd probably still be playing it today.

No biggie.  Stuff happens, the important part is that you deal with it.  And you did.  Rock on. 😀

Thanks, yaracyrrah80.  I have to agree, it's really not that well done… kinda funny, really.  One second she's huge and then they… kind of don't try to hide the fact that it isn't even remotely the same person we were seeing just a second ago, and she's just a normal sized girl.  Well, I guess it's the best they could do with their budget.  😀

I'm hesitant to call it cheating.  90% of the time you just have to click crotches and nipples at random to find it. 😛

I think I know what game you are talking about.  Does the woman carry whip?

No, I'm pretty sure she fought without any weapons.
