Point 2 is the only answer that I disagree with – first – personally I’m not opposed to dominatrix type stuff, but I do understand that one sided can be a problem. In my newest work (still in production) I’m fighting that concept while still trying to keep it organic. Finally, I guess I dont know the lingo – what is GTS?

February 3, 2019 at 1:23 am in reply to: Inside the Writers Studio: Substance-using Characters – Would you include one? #142903Jayne GreyeParticipantI have no problem with characters who use drugs/roids. If it fits in the plot why not (since the audience I write for is not young adult/children). As for smoking I detest it personally so have never considered having my characters do it. As for product placement I dont see the point unless it was a film script and I was making money for it. Only then, would I approve if I didn’t hate the corporation associated with it.

For me, I enjoy a good FMG story and there is almost limitless content now. There are two problems with most of the stories for me though which have limited my reading. #1 There are a ton of poorly written, grammatically incorrect literature out there. Secondly, as a point of personal preference, I enjoy a more realistic story where the FMG has a a logical cause and develops slowly. That is part of the reason why are started writing novels myself:

Aside from a few favorites, finding stories to read that are both well written and realistic are few and far between. Thankfully Qbikk has posted a collection of some of the better ones recently so I’d check that out tooJanuary 25, 2019 at 8:56 am in reply to: Muscle Therapy: ‘Curing’ My Muscle Worship Addiction (New Novel Released) #142791Jayne GreyeParticipantpaperback version: https://www.amazon.com/dp/179501346X

I had purchased the authors first book since i am a fan of FBBs and FBB themed literature and was excited to read this book as well. The first book is very good and I suguested you read it. I wish I could post a review for that one but I bought it from a different bookseller. This book tracks Kyle as he is outed for his love of muscular women at work and must go on a journey of self discovery to find the root of his fetish.
The book does a really good job of tracking Kyle as he goes to Vegas and indulges in a scene of muscle worship with a top FBB and then meets Josie a muscular single mom as they strike up a relationship. Along the way Kyle begins attending therapy for his addiction to female muscle and meets Kristy a championship FBB who forces him to live every schmoes greatest dream and worst nightmare as she plunges herself in a quest to get even more massive.
The writing was very good and in depth and the writers really have a way of adding small details to make you feel as if you are experiencing what the character is going through. Also because this is written by a husband and wife team and the wife is a lifter as well the female characters are very well fleshed out which is a nice contrast to the usual literature of this sort. Overall very good and I am highly looking forward to any future works by these authors!
