Taking this from another angle,
how many of those that were writing stories, but stopped posting them for the reasons previously stated,
(or even those unstated), have still continued to write stories anyway?“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”

March 22, 2018 at 7:57 pm #138841LingsterKeymasterThere are two problems:
- 20+ years ago a lot of us were motivated by a lack of content. There just wasn’t much out there. I didn’t even know for sure that there was a single other human being on the planet who was into FMG until I was 24 years old, and when I realized others existed I was thrilled to be able to write down some of the things in my head.
- But there aren’t THAT many people who are into FMG, probably fewer than 10,000 men in the developed world who are seriously into it, so there’s very little money in it. I’m working on Stronger Girls #3 and #4 but they’re taking me a long time because everything else in my life takes precedence. If I sell a few hundred copies I’ll make a couple thousand dollars – meanwhile I’ve got two not-inexpensive gamer PCs rendering 3D images probably 100 hours a week each. I’m on vacation right now and one of them is churning out the cover image for Stronger Girls #3 while I’m gone – 6 days to make a super-high-quality render. Other, somewhat related fetishes, GTS, for example, are vastly more lucrative for content creators.

The first paragraph, that part I do agree w/
I recall well that exuberant age of creativity @ ZZZ’s GTS Grows and Everything Grows forums (among many others). 😉 B)
All seemed to go into a nose dive about 2000 / 01 around the time of the dot com crash.
However, that said, I contend a large part of it nowadays is the lack of positive femuscular portrayals in main stream pop culture.

Interesting interview w/ Paul McGuire
– not on writing stories, per say, but on how attention spans have been artificially reduced, which does effect the ability to read anything longer then the instructions on a tube of tooth paste, and maybe that’s being generous.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LkZONuu3U4

There are two problems with most of the stories for me though which have limited my reading. #1 There are a ton of poorly written, grammatically incorrect literature out there. Secondly, as a point of personal preference, I enjoy a more realistic story where the FMG has a a logical cause and develops slowly. That is part of the reason why are started writing novels myself:

Muscle Love: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H6Y2HSY

Aside from a few favorites, finding stories to read that are both well written and realistic are few and far between. Thankfully Qbikk has posted a collection of some of the better ones recently so I’d check that out tooFebruary 1, 2019 at 6:24 pm #142893AlexGKeymasterInteresting thread.
I’ve PM’d you with some links to a few threads (buried now, in the stacks) of questions that I posed to other writers here (most gone now) – which you might also find interesting.

That because most of them were never written in mind as serious fiction – they’re male fantasy fetish pieces composed as a quick rip and read. Once they get to the money shot – usually the growth scene – possibly w/ sex included, that’s it. Autoerotica growth porn is like cotton candy – sweet, but short lived and leaving you without any fulfilling satisfaction.
Secondly, as a point of personal preference, I enjoy a more realistic story where the FMG has a a logical cause and develops slowly.
Myself, I’m not really interested in strictly FMG only – slowly done or fast.
Too one-sided, and can often devolve into dominatrix-esque material – GTS is just fraught with this, and again, not my preference. That is part of the reason why are started writing novels myself:
Bingo! I ran into the same problem early-on. Figured there’d be at least 2 or 3 writers that focused on crafting MMG / FMG stories – but nope nadda. In the face of such a huge vacuum, its why I started writing my own sci-fantasy fiction stories.

Point 2 is the only answer that I disagree with – first – personally I’m not opposed to dominatrix type stuff, but I do understand that one sided can be a problem. In my newest work (still in production) I’m fighting that concept while still trying to keep it organic. Finally, I guess I dont know the lingo – what is GTS?
