KeymasterSo is there going to be any karm integrations with the forums, or is this just going to be a "popularity meter" for the time being?
For now just a popularity meter.

KeymasterHe means a broad array of topic areas. For conversations to remain on-topic, the topics have to fill a demand and be stated clearly. I spent a fair amount of time figuring out what people at She Grew! liked to talk about, and what people at Transvigor responded most to. The new boards are the product of that.
It's certainly within the ballpark for people to disagree with my choice of board topics and to suggest new ones, but what is not open to negotiation is whether or not there will be topics. I have to maintain some semblance of order or this won't remain a pleasant place for people to discuss their interests.

KeymasterMy inclination is to leave it like it is for a month or so and see which ones take off and which don't. I can pare and add as necessary.

KeymasterI've changed the configuration so that only net-Karma will be shown.

KeymasterI'm open to merging boards, but I created the new boards because I believe there's a need for them in the wider-interest environment of Amaz0ns.
So if anyone wants to suggest an actual board structure instead of just saying "too many", I'm open to it. I've already gotten pm's from people who are glad to see the new structure, DCM among them.

KeymasterThere's a limit of 50 messages for "Newbie" users. No one else has a limit. I might change this is in the future, but for the time being it doesn't seem like it will be a problem.

KeymasterYes, "Guests" are very limited in what they're able to see and do. I want to see this become a true community site, and for that to happen I need people to log in.

KeymasterOK, I will be turning on uploads within the next few days, as soon as I have moderators lined up.
The rules above concerning minors still apply.
There is an additional rule – you must own the rights to the image you post at Amaz0ns. That means that no photographs may be uploaded unless the poster is the photographer or the model, or some third party who has otherwise acquired the rights. Unless the photograph dates from before 1923 or has been acquired from a public-domain stock photo site, somebody owns it. This includes morphs – no uploads of morphs unless you own the rights to the photo.
Graphic artists are free to post their work at will, so long as they follow the rules above.

KeymasterYour old avatars are all available under "Old Board" in the avatars control panel of your profile. I think I have all of them.
