My only problem with this type of underage material is that it might attract people who would post truly sexual underage material. I skimmed the story – you don’t depict sexual activities involving a minor or describe a minor’s privates, so you’re on the safe side of the law as I understand it.

The problem with enacting a total ban on underage sexual material is that it doesn’t discriminate between Judy Blume and a guy who rapes children on camera. I don’t think it’s at all unhealthy or unusual for people to imagine themselves participants in sexual fantasies in which they’re back in high school. Who among us doesn’t feel his heart skip a beat when he sees a college or high school varsity cheerleader? And we feel that way because that’s when our sexual identities were forged – it’s a visceral response.

As late as 25 or so, I was still regularly fantasizing about the girls I went to high school with. And those girls still form the ur-women, the markers, against whom I measure women I meet today. It’s the way I’m wired – probably the way most of us are wired.

As long as they doen’t involve the actual exploitation of people under 18 (images or videos), the characters have reached the sexually-activated phase of their lives (let’s say 14+, though I’d prefer 16+), and there is no explicit sexual activity or descriptions, I won’t delete stories.

And AverageGuy2, you need to take a chill pill – if this story is the worst offender here, it’s still better than middle-of-the-field at any other story site I’ve seen. We’re a clean bunch, usually.

I’ve also added two new available board templates – the subSilver template (which is default on phpBB), and MDStyle, a boxy, high contrast template.

I don’t like either but they might be easiest for some of you to read.

If anyone is still having trouble finding a readable template, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Hi, great board first of all. Also, I commend how on-topic/appropriate the posts are and how well-moderated the site is.

I have a suggestion as well… it would be great if the topics on the boards would list the "start date" or date of the first post for that topic in addition to the already shown "most recent post."

I’ll look into it. I’m not an expert on phpBB code, but that should be doable.

No names or anything, but what’s up with that?

Kinda discovered it by accident that you can have a larger avatar then the 80×80 pixel limit set by the forum. Not that you can change the setup here, but what the instructions on your profile page don’t tell you is that if you use the "Link to off-site Avatar" (which I did via ImageShack™) you can have a larger avatar to represent your inimitable persona.

Yeah, it’s a glitch in the template code. If it becomes a problem I’ll deal with it. For now it’s OK.
