The same applies to me and strong women. I’m not really attracted to strong females. I do however, like the idea of a woman growing out of their clothes. I actually prefer normal women and rather date those kinds, it’s just that muscle growth and giantess growth really excites me.

I definitely agree with you on the growth aspect! The process of female muscle growth (or height, weight, etc) is just generally enticing. I think it is a stimulating fantasy partly because it has a basis in reality – women can grow muscles, just usually not quick enough to rip out of their clothes!

In a real life relationship, there are definitely things I would put ahead of good ol’ muscle in a relationship (honesty, intelligence, a sense of humor, just off the top of my head). I would say that I am attracted to women who are more on the muscular side. This is not necessarily with the intention of it being a fetish thing, and she does not necessarily need to be as big as or bigger than me. But, I am a pretty muscular guy myself, and it is nice to have the shared interest of the gym, health, and fitness with someone. It allows just one more way to make a connection with that special someone. So, in that sense, it is nice to have a lady whose strength is close to on par with mine (for both exercise and just general physical play).

Watching a girlfriend put on new muscle can be exciting, if that is what she wants to do. One perk of having a partner who is around the same strength level is it allows for some nice domination play (if you are both into that) with some true strength involved (with one taking on the submissive, meeker role). Plus, with both partners strong, either can be dominant…and who doesn’t like a little role play from time to time!

Personally, another nice perk is seeing the discrepancy and reaction of ‘normal’ guys to a strong, muscular woman. It may be a little voyeuristic of me, but it can be pretty exciting to see a girlfriend outmuscle some guy (lift more than him, have bigger arms, etc) and seeing the guy unsure how to react. 😉

Again though, the strength thing is just one aspect of a healthy, loving relationship (and would never be the key factor).

I might as well throw my two cents into this thread. Of all the threads of this nature which have popped up I don’t think I’ve ever partook in one. But anyway, here goes.

I remember when I was younger, and use to watch saturday morning cartoons like the X-Men and others based on Marvel comics, and the one thing I’d notice in those comics is that every single guy was totally ripped. Even people who shouldn’t be. But when you’d look at characters like Rogue, who had super-human strength, they’d only appear to be toned, and have a two-pack. I guess I like FMG because it’s different. It’s something that shouldn’t be shunned apon as much as it is.

The X-Men reference reminds me of an article by Anne Haas Dyson of Cal Berkeley. She did an ongoing study looking at gender roles and specifically ideas about strength roles within a group of second grade students. If you have never read any of her work, it is quite interesting and well written.

Very well said… I’ve been trying to articulate that loyalty isn’t weakness and that one can be flexible without sycophancy.

One common misconception, I feel, is to confuse meekness with weakness. Weakness is the absence of strength. Meekness is strength under control.

Submission is performed through choice – a person does not loose their strength, they just opt not to use it!

OK, its not exactly a movie, and its not exactly a muscle transformation scene, but the old Sledge Hammer series has what would rank as one of my top 10 hot FBB scenes. Sledge (a dirty-harry style cop with a gun fetish) sneaks into a gym and is confronted by two female bodybuilders who proceed to tear their clothes to shreds just by flexing (they have bikinis on underneath). The scene suggests muscle growth as mentioned above.

One interesting note is that the show also had a blond areobics-style girl in the gym a little while earlier in a similar outfit to one of the bodybuilders. When I first saw this clip, I thought the blond bodybuilder was ment to be the other girl who had somehow bulked up super fast to beat up Sledge.

This series is finally out on DVD – great 80’s comedy.

Seeing the women grow is definately more interseting for me. Especially when she grows at the expense of her man – making him shrink down a little every time she grows (basically the reverse of the male growth).

There are some great stories out there, both long and short. Assuming consistant story quality, my preference leans more toward the longer stories. It allows the author to build on established characters and settings more, and you get a better feel of continuty (or disruption of continuity as changes begin to occur).

Plus, longer stories also usually mean either muscle changes from multiple women, and/or slow, gradual muscle growth – both of which are favorites of mine!

    This entry got me thinking-

How much of this fantasy involves readers imagining themselves in the role of the characters they read about versus being observers of what they are reading. I know that part of the fantasy is reading about characters that have personal flaws or make silly choices that move the muscle-growth plot forward (women who become obsessive about exercising, males who adhere to strongly sexist attitudes, characters who recklessly drink mysterious liquids, etc)

But, if given the chance, would you choose to be a character in one of these stories, or would you prefer to be an unobtrusive observer? (in a Marknew story or otherwise) When you read stories, how often do you imagine yourself in the role of the characters?

"I am relieved that I don’t live in a world like THAT!"

Me too. Being a man in a Marknew story isn’t a good life-choice.

But for some reason, I do like to watch what happens.

If there is a guy at the high school who has a reputation for trying to take advantage of girls on dates, some of those girls might be looking for a little payback (or want to turn the tables on him to teach him a lesson)

Another thought – so far several of the girls have been into growing bigger and stronger than the guys; it might be an interesting switch to see a girl who tries to figure out how to get guys even smaller and weaker (or some guy in particular).

Oh, and I personally love the descriptions of how small the girls’ old clothes are on them – especially as the day progresses!

Two comments on ND (well, three if you consider that the movie is freaking funny!)

#1. I wish the scene was longer! I had hoped she would have been around a little more.

#B. When I first saw her scene, I felt like the movie made her face look a little harsh – not terribly messed up, but not as pretty as it might be. Then, I compared her to the other characters in the movie and decided that her appearance was consistent with the others – just a little bit off normal.

…Not to downplay a good looking FBB in a big movie. It is still a great scene!
