That's excellent. Makes me wish there was a reasonably simple end-user program to morph full-motion clips. Maybe in a few years.

Ah yes, the Holy Grail of image morphing! Well, I've got some good news for you. I just found out this morning that in Moho you can warp movies just as easily as you can warp images. I've been wishing for a tool that could do that for years and here it was under my nose all the time. No longer do I have to think "How cool would it be if she was really buff?" when a hot actress fights a bunch of guys or performs a feat of strength.

Can't wait to give it a try tonight. Any requests?

Wow, you did all that with MSPaint  😮 :-o?!?? That's impressive, but hopefully one day I can convince you to go vector – either Moho (commercial but cheap) or Synfig (new free alternative). That way the tweening is done automatically and there's none of that nasty pixelation when you zoom in. The two packages I mentioned even have advanced features like bones, particle effects, lip-syncing, automatic cel shading…..and I could go on but I won't. Just check them out when you get the chance.

I guess the easiest thing to do would be for you to make your animated gifs like normal but just repeat frames where you want tweens inserted. That way you can get the timing how you want it without spending too long on the details. You can send them to my e-mail or put them on your yahoo group site. If DP wants to help out as well then ID the frames so we know who is doing what. It would be like your own personal Korean animation sweat shop.

I've already PMed you my e-mail address regarding that other project of yours but not sure if you received it.

Very glad to hear that you're going to finish this fantastic animation. If you need someone to draw backgrounds or do some tweening I could certainly help out with that. I would be relunctant to do whole scenes of animation, though, as probably my style wouldn't fit in with what's already been done.

    😀 😮 😀 😮 😀 😮 😀
Just discovered this thread and it was incredible to see the whole sequence in one sitting. It shows that all you need to create impressive muscle-girl renders is a pencil and paper…. and a truckload of talent, I guess.

Any chance of a bit of romance entering her life? Perhaps one of her life long friends could become something more. Just a suggestion to spark that creative little mind of yours. I agree with a previous poster that you should do whatever the hell you want. Look forward to seeing the continuation.

Now excuse me while I go and do a Forum search on "Cammy"!

Agree with all the above comments – you truly captured a beautiful moment there. Just a great piece of work and nicely colored.

It's unbelievable how natural looking these morphs are  :-o! Awesome work!!!

I second Thatdude's request for a quick tutorial. We're not asking for a step by step guide or anything just a description of the overall process as well as your preferred tool settings, etc.

Well, that sucks :-(!! She would have been perfect for the job!

I guess I'll have a bash at doing a Tetsuko sprite myself with Moho. Perhaps once I post a few progress pictures, people out there will get inspired enough to contribute some background/storyline artwork or sound effects/music.

I love these "unposed" pictures of muscle-girls – a young woman just going about her business doing not much at all, in spite of what such an immensley muscular body would be capable of. There also aren't enough back shots on this board.

    More please!

So, what happened to this thread? We had Dave showing interest in doing some artwork and Kulli demonstrating that he could do some killer sprites for it and has some game designing experience. There were some great ideas bandied around and then it just dried up. Are you guys still interested in making this happen?

One of the ideas I had was for a fun Leisure Suit Larry style point 'n click, but with a female muscle theme. Instead of dodgy singles bars you would try to pick up at gyms and female body-building events. You could even have the main character try a mucle worship and wrestling session or managing a female body-builder, all of which would go horribly wrong. The game would end when you meet the fantasy muscle woman of your dreams and live happily ever after. I really liked the humour of those games and think it would cross over really well into the amazon admirer world.

As for which idea we should choose, I think we should do all of them because there's sure as hell no way the industry is ever going to do it. However, I think the 2D muscle-girl fighter would be a good place to start. There are some well developed 2D fighter game engines out there like MUGEN http://www.lostmarble.com – (available for  Mac/Windows/Linux by the way) and it seems like it could be used to generate nice anime style animated sprites very quickly. I know that it's more conventional to use bitmap editors for sprites, but using vectors would make it resolution independent and would also let you re-use animation between characters.

Kulli, could you give us a bit more detail on far you got with your 2D fighter? Perhaps we could just build on that one – it looks like you used MUGEN as well.

Anyway, hopefully this will revive this thread as I would love to see what the talented people on this board could do when they band together.

    Hi Collector_2,

I would love to collaborate on a FMG movie, but is this game the best way to go about it? If you want to make a movie then aren't you better off using a 3D animation package together with some editing software and if you want to make an interactive game there are some more general game engines out there. What I'm trying to say is that the real-time 3D graphics of "The Movies" is fine for a game, but if your desired end product is standalone move then there are better suited tools to the task.

Having said that, if you are interested in developing a femuscle or FMG based game, I do have some experience creating and skinning a low-poly mesh. A while back I did a model of Wreck's Idal for Unreal Championship, and I would say that it should be even easier these days with a higher polygon count and better 3d texturing tools.

    Cheers
