I's too am having issue with the PM system but the same as our dear David.

I's am not receiving notification of messages -either on the site or in my's e-mail (and it is set for such)- and thus miss messages from people. Resulting in a few e-mails calling I rude because I's made no response to a message that I's did not know I's had.

There are also others with similair problems.

Can anything be done or is it simply a random gliche which we will have to endure?

I's am most sure to find love and happiness in the arms of my's Beloved Abigail.

And, to Cowprobe: there will most like be no wedding photographs. At least not of I.
As those whom do know I would recall, I's have a slight phobia about being captured on film and it seems my's dear Abigail has similair -if minor- comparisons.
If there are any taken, I's will be sure to post them for all to see.

I's do recall Ms. Everts from my's most faulted Youth.

She was of the early generation of proto female bodybuilders/weightlifters.
She was a most stunning creature and a great icon for any child whom did grow up in the 70's and the dark times before there were known and recognised female bodybuilders.

I's have spied on her career now and again over the years and she simply continues to improve with each pasisng season.

Soon she shall truly be a force to reckon with on the International Stage.

I's did have a feeling that you would use the notion of sports as a counter, dear Lingster, so I's do offer a simple maxim:

"We one fights to win, it is one thing. when they fight to survive it is another".

For many sports are their only means and methods to escape their economic cycle. Thus they try harder in order to gain recognition they need to step up to the high level of Collegic and Professional sports.

History has soon that as oppotunity increases, so do the percentages of non-Whites achieving.

That is why you are finding many of the top players in American Professional Basket Ball and Baseball are either from an Black, Ethnic or Foreign background.
Because they have more to prove once they are given the oppotunities to do so.

As for minority-dominated schools in the U.S. having access to more sports funding, that is merely a moot point.
These schools realise that their better option is to develop sports talent in order to attract more funding, usually at the cost of acedemic programs.
And thus the cycle remains.

Is am not denying that genetics plays its part but you must also factor in the conditioning of grouping.
When people are giving the oppotunity to do a thing that they were previously not, their chances of suceeding over others whom having been doing it for long simply because they have more to prove by doing so and far more to gain.

Most wonderful, dear David, if not a touch cliched for a comic fan to desire.
No matter. For you do fine work anyway.

Though I's would recommend actually going and reading some of the original Norse & Viking Myths. For they have very powerful women amongst them -especially the Goddess and (Good) Giantesses whom do bare some of the Gods children (such as the seven Giantess sisters whom are the mother of Heimdall).

I's recommend you to seek an antique booked called Myths of the Norsemen by H. A. Guerber published by George G. Harrap & Co. LTD. (originally in 1908 but has been reprinted many times over the years) for it the best basic resource of its type that I's have seem in many a long year.

It was no issue, merely a long story.
I's did not notice nor celebrate such a date during that stage of my's life, so it mattered not.
Just do not waste your years in the same fashion as I, my's young friend.
