Which is a true shame really, considering the quaility of the compeditors that have appeared in the last 10 years or so.

The Pimp NeonBlackParticipantActually, dear Jimmy, Dionysus (also known as Bacchus and Euan in Latin) was not merely the God of ‘partying ’til you puke’ as you so put it, but rather was, originally, a Demi-god or Earthborn Divinity (one of the many sons of Zeus) that was a symbol of Rebirth and the Harvest -both of which are celebrated in the ancient world by elaborate festivals. Which is how the modern mind game to associate him the way we do.
He can actually be seen as a Proto-Christ figure. A wandering mystic/divine figure bestowing both gifts and curses on those he encounters.
But, you are right in fashion, dear Jimmy, he was not good god (though none of them truly were) and his later followers (the third and forth generations) would actually torture and kill all those who denounced their Dionysus as being one of the Olympian.
And, of course, the Romans took the cult too far and completely bastadised the ideas and morality that first Greek follow of Him (Dionysus) practiced. Making him an excuse for all acts of depravity imaginable.
Dionysus is also known as the God Of Wine because Wine is both a product of the Harvest and is a luxery item for many as well as the centre piece for almost every Greek festival imaginable (excepting the more pyus ceremonies of Hera, Athena and the other insituationalised Gods and Goddess).
Hope this is found to be enlightening.
Your idea does seem entertaining though.

Does Ares have a loyal lieutenant or assitant character to aid him in his endevours?
This was earlier disgust with my’s ever-present companion, The Shadow, and, the self proclaimed ‘evil ubernerd’, Raver and Raver said something that struck.
That was: "Every Galvatron needs a Cyclonus".
A lieutentant to step into the fray insteed of his commander, keep order in the ranks and obey to the bitter end.
It might be interesting for Ares to have such a character -maybe fashioned as a Spartan Warrior- to stand betwix him and Dyna when all things are revealed, because it would hardly seem fitting to have a God such as Ares to trouble himself with a mortal the likes of Dyna before he realises her true nature and that of her Divine Patron.
It may be something to consider?

Or, mores to the point, their Ancient Greek propoganda.As for your drawings: you are still have difficulty with proportions. Especially in the last (non muscle work). It also appears that her shoulder is not part of her body and is merely attached as if it were a doll’s limb.
Your lines and faces are fair though.
